  1. @ - anonim1979: What is your problem? and your proposal? I can't understand your post.
  2. OK lets still back up a bit. 1 = Take an ORIGNAL non-modified XP source. 2 = Copy that to the harddrive in a folder called XP (Whatever you want to name it) 3 = Run nLite and point it to the XP source folder you just made, Select these options - service pack, hotfixes and bootable iso. 4 = Click next and select the SP3 for integration. 5 = Click next and select the 2 mui packs for integration. 6 = Click next and allow nlite to proccess your disk. 7 = Check your source folder size. If less than 700 megs then grab a blank cd, if more grab a blank DVD. 8 = Select DIRECT BURN!!! 9 = Test in a virtual enviroment. (Virtualbox, VMware or virtualPC) 10 = Format PC.....
  3. Ummm yeah its in the main post and on the help section of the website as a known bug. It's the quotes remove them. Issue fixed in the next release FINALLY! Look back this week for it.
  4. It will make the image for xp no matter what the size of the folder is. It is up to you to be smart enough to use a dvd or cd when you stick the disk in your burner. I suggest you manuallly remove the unneded folders first (See explanation of them here --> http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/57/ ) Now how did you add the MUI and SP files for integration? You have had to have stuffed up something because with 2 mui's and sp3 you still would not have gone over 700 megs.
  5. http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5657 Try this one instead...
  6. HAHHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHH OMG Translation: "I stupidly integrated an APLHA software and now nLite will not remove it!" (Or dl'ed a premade XP and tried to remove it) "Now I am to lazy to do it again, Even though all I would have todo is select the last session and not choose IE8 this time"
  7. yes of course you can BUT don't just go and reformatt your pc if you need the data on it. goto http://www.ubcd4win.com/ and dl the newest one there. Now this will take a few minutes but it will be worth your while. Unpack\install the UBCD and run it. select the source (Thats the 2003 iso you just dl'ed and burned or extracted) now compile your new ubcd iso and burn it to disk. This is now a "Live" windows cd. Go to your laptop and boot from it. Then you can get all of the files you want to recover and place them on a flash drive (if you have one)
  8. You must calm down and read better http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en
  9. have you just pressed enter??
  10. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windows...r/bb430831.aspx
  11. ok no! But you can dl a trial version of win2003 and use that to make a UBCD.
  12. OK first things first! What media do you have access to?
  13. Its right in the damned faq shown on the second post!!!
  14. Sorry to tell you this but you have to USE A FRESH source ESPECIALLY when integrating a Service Pack!
  15. I am truly sorry to tell you guys this: I just can't do it. I have spent well over 200 hours on the damned service pack. I cannot get past the unsigned drivers issue. I would suggest using these addons here http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=28 OR Kurt aust's wonderful solution found in the sticky posts. I have tested both quite a bit and found them both very good. If you want the bare essentials use onepieces setup and if you want to go even further then use Kurt Aust's wonderfull solution. Once again I am very sorry...
  16. Only oem or corp\vlk versions can be autoactivated. OEM versions check the machines bios and since you would need to use a extra app or utility to faciltate the installation ok windows on your mac the oem version will not recognize the bios. on siginets forum there is a app prog that is called something like the great activation project. Sorry The OEM A.C.T. http://siginetsoftware.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=14 This could help you with the oem version if you where staying with the same oem pc. You can make a fully unattended setup with nLite BUT you will still have to make your pc actually activate over the net or by phone after windows is installed.. The way we have done it on several macs is using parallels http://www.parallels.com/ then not activating untill you are sure you like the setup.
  17. WTF?!?! How in the hell can I help you if all your going to do is B*tch? You need to post your theme so I can help update it or just STFU.
  18. I took it to mean "Select adobe reader and have WPI download it from adobe and install it for you", Thats what my refusal todo was. Mantainging a database like that and keeping it updated would be a nightmare. PLUS WPI is used in 29+ languages right now. You would be talking THOUSANDS of entries and addresses that would have to be mantained monthly or more.
  19. WPI is commonly used from lan. There are several posts and threads on doing this.
  20. I suppose with a combination of wget and the right adresses you COULD do it. But its not a direction we want to take WPI in.
  21. Not with the way your planning on doing it. I am not sure if it can be done that way.
  22. As long as the copy of windows is only on one 1 pc you'll be fine.
  23. Actually dirtwarrior I have intsalled XP on a couple of macs using parrallels. Worked pretty good too.
  24. Heck he didn't even need to use the search button 20 of the last like 30 post and topics have all been on sp3 here in the nLite section alone...
