For my lists, I'm not updating them until Monday afternoon at the earliest. Gotta love exams! KB890046 is replaced, but by 2 different fixes. The latest IE update and KB932168 (newer than KB920213, contains 1 file instead of 3). Microsoft doesn't call that replaced for some reason. For KB936357, it won't be on my list until the KB article is published. the_guy

Just had a look at your update lists and thought that the following should be done: KB924667 (MS07-012) was re-released for 2003 because it also affects SP2. Maybe update your 2003 lists for this change? Other than that, your lists are really good as usual. Keep up the good work. the_guy

msxml2.msi MUST be with msxml2sp6-kb887606 for Windows 2000 as 2000 only includes msxml 2.5, and msxml2.dll requires msxml2r.dll. It's fine to be removed for Windows XP/2003. the_guy

Update for Windows 2000 (KB927891) This is a reliability update. This update resolves an issue in the Windows Installer (MSI) that can affect performance during software updates. Finally released for Windows 2000, today! I guess the reply to support complaints can no longer be "Upgrade to XP." the_guy

Yes, you can activsate it through 'my controls' I can use it in other forums, just not this one. Maybe an option wasn't selected in the Admin CP. the_guy

I read somewhere that the version of makecab.exe included in Vista fixed the bug made with prior versions. the_guy

Just a small typo, but shouldn't 64-bit really be 48-bit, unless there's a 64-bit LBA registry tweak that I'm unaware of. the_guy

KB925902 installs 4 files, but KB935483 just installs 1. the_guy

I get the feeling that Microsoft might not have fully tested KB925902 before releasing it. That KB article makes 2 fixes for the XP patch and 1 for the 2000 patch. I'll stick it in this weekend. the_guy

iexpress.exe requires makecab.exe and wextract.exe to make the installer. the_guy

Known issue with version of makecab.exe from XP SP2 and 2003. What's the file version on your computer? The version of makecab.exe from XP SP1 or older should work properly. Maybe Tomcat could code HFSLIP to accept makecab in HFTOOLS (if it's not already). the_guy

The list has been updated. I've also made a decision to include Windows Server 2003 SP2 updates. It will make it easier for any 2003 users out there to keep an updated CD. Comments anyone? the_guy
