  1. ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_...ate/lusetup.exe
  2. I just found out that the liveupdate directory is gone when creating an admin install. It seems symantec deleted the directory and move lusetup to program files\symantec antivirus. This makes replacing liveupdate with the latest version very easy and doesn't waste space. I've been doing that since I first started repacking the installer months ago. Yea but the directory is not there like it used to be and you would have edit the msi if you just wanted lsetup.exe or lusetup.exe in the liveupdate directory without the other files.

  4. I'm still a little ticked off symantec still has not replaced liveupdate 2.0 with 2.6 in the setup. Oh well time to hack the msi again. lol.

  7. A link to the homepage of this software would be the start of someone helping you.
  8. Its a NSIS Installer like the previous beta I talked about. PM Me if you want it.
  9. LimeWire 4.3.3 include the following changes: - Fixed widespread 'Could not move to Library' bug on Windows. - Fixed 'Direct Connect' tab to update your IP address as it changes, as well as show that you are behind a firewall or router if LimeWire detects it. - Added a 'Shutting Down LimeWire...' window as LimeWire closes. - Fixed internal bugs in UPnP. - Optimized filtering based on IP addresses. Thanks to Philippe Verdy for this optimization. - Reduced the upload bandwidth required when downloading files via LimeWire's new "firewall to firewall" technology. - Added the Java version to the 'About' dialog. - Added a Creative Commons playlist when in LimeWire's shared playlists (using DAAP). Thanks to Roger Kapsi for contributing this. - Fixed improper window sizing after changing themes or restoring from the system tray when using Java 1.5. - Simplified firewall configuration and added UPnP configuration. 10. Limewire PRO 4.3.3 BETA Released!!!
  11. I use ABC which has no ads and uses NSIS installer. Easy to silent install. Hope your setup can help someone.
  12. I tried to silent install panda and it has never worked for me. I would try making an autoit script.
  13. And also alot of people especially newbies don't search and recreate topics over again. I'm wasn't saying what you posted isn't useful. Also if you know the switches for the installers (i.e. Inno Setup uses /VERYSILENT) its usually the same with any app that uses that installer.
  14. Better idea. How about this person stop being lazy and search. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=29637&hl=cdex, http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=15561&hl=cdex, http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=11244&hl=cdex
  15. Use regshot to monitor where it puts the key in the registry and then export it to a .reg file.
  16. IRC server admins see both Bottler and XDCC Catcher Pro as leechers. They say its causing all the larger queues that are happening on the servers. Its too many newbies entering into the IRC world and they are mad. IRC was suppose to be for the so called "elite". Elite being the people who used IRC clients such as MIRC and learned all the commands associated with chats, bots, etc. Now this clients (i.e. XDCC Catcher) are making too easy and a point-and-click progress. This is not my opinion but what I actually heard from various server admins summarized.
  17. I have no clue either. I like inno setup so that's what I worry about.
  18. Yea I heard that too. I will be sticking with WinRAR.
  19. Well it would help and benefit us if you post your method and/or files so people can use this. Otherwise this is just you rambling...
  20. Standard Edition comes with irda (infrared) driver and support.
