From the commandline or run box type nameoffile.exe /SAVEINF="c:\INSTALL.INF". Then continue manually installing the codec pack. When its done, it will have all the settings you chose in the inf file. Then in your unattended cd, put nameoffile.exe /VERYSILENT /SP- /LOADINF="location of inf file".
indeed. You already know that it's an MSI, why would you need a switch finder to tell you? This program's purpose is for foreign installers or non-normal ones. MSI is definately not in that category. I agree MSI are too easy to spot and is not a foreign installer. Actually its native. Anyway I think it is not necessary to modify the app NoLogic but do what u will.
If you have shockwave still installed, just sfx the files np32dsw.dll & ShockwavePlugin.class and thats all you need if you have and use Netscape, Firefox or Mozilla browsers. If you have use IE, can't help you there because I don't use it.
It depends on what options you used in winrar for you sfx file. You can make it completely silent without using switches. If Silent=1 is in the comment of your sfx then you don't need switches. If not use the switch -s.

this will install liveupdate Silently Useful for those who are using NIS2005 NAV9 and NSW2005 This was talked about before here: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=23991. Also this silently installs if you integrated with an admin install point talked about in the above thread. Good work though. Not trying to say this doesn't help. This is good for the newbies
