I have 2 gbs of ram, i let windows manage the minimum amount recommended, and just put that in the maximum size as well, like said b4, this stps it fragmenting, and if windows needs it, it there to use it.

Ok, i have set up Apache, PHP and Mysql on a system here at work all is running fine. I have Crucial ballistixs, and they get VERY warm due to their performace, i have two small ram flow fans over the dimm modules, helps a lot, and id never take off the heat pads!

To remove old paste i use: ArctiClean Thermal Material Remover and Surface Purifier - 60ml Kit Does the job Perfectly, just let the liquid sit on the paste for 60 secs and it basically runs off, then use the other liquid to clean it up! removes it from all the hard to get places as well! (sounds like an advert!) Also, I just put a dab in the centre and let the heat stink spread it out...remember the heat sink base gets tight up to contact, so its gonna spread like mad!

This error reallys annoys me, i never undersatnd it, all i know is that when i run Network setup wizard on all my machines it works...i personally don't know why it does,maybe someone else does. But thats how i fix it, just by running the XP Network Set up wizard in my network places. Also, check on all machines that Netbios is disabled, ive had it b4 when it was enabled on one machine, and that machine wasnt seen by the others. Do this by: My Network Places > View Network connections > Right Click Local Area Connection > Properties > Select TCP/IP from the list > Properties > Advanced > WINS tab > Then select Disable Netbios.

XP Home is licenced to one machine, XP Pro is licensed to 2 machines, even with OEM versions.

well, i went out and got it for a few reasons: finally installing it i have noticed a big difference when loasign heavy games, such as BF2 which does demand a LOT of memory, loadign quicker, near next to no hard drive activity, as it doenst need virtual memory like it used to. also, if AMD bring out anothe rnew chip, that in theory would mean current chips would slightly drop in proce, as im not one who goes out any buys the brand new stuff, so my PC4000 would then cointribute to increase in speed if and wehn i do upgrade. so as i say, each to his own but thnks for the advice guys! will also keep my eye on my memory to see if any problem do occure.

Ok, i got a A7N8X Deluxe Board, with a Barton 3200+ CPU. at the moment i got x2 512MB PC3200 memory, but wanna upgrade to 2GB. I got the full game and it is ACE. it is VERY system hungry, it basically takes over your OS. You will have to close EVERYTHING down in th background as it just takes so much resources.

XP for sure...and defo MIN 1 gig, i wanna go for 2 gigs now...

Its easy to install Xpize with nLITE, and also to copy the theme and use it in windows... however, things like: Reloader, Task Switch, Settings in control panel...etc how can i integrate these in nLITE? or cant you...cause if you cant, whats the point in integrating it then? unless i guess u install JUST the extras after?????
