Even though I'm a CarPC modder, I've removed all the crap from windows and the redundant entries in the registry to get my windows nice and well... small Lookies Oh and btw, I only run Winamp as my shell, nothing else, as thats all I need to make my CarPC function

Thats for damned sure, NEVER use your Root account for daily usage, only use it for emergencies and maintenance purposes only. Security wise, its all up to the person to make sure the OS is secure, both Windows and Linux are secure, its only the people who don't make it secure are the ones who complain !

It maybe possible, if it uses a MSI style of installation, you can just edit the MSI to point to the same DVD OR if it comes with installshield or wise installer, then its possible to get the install program and edit the installer ? I've only done the MSI style ones, and also the ones where you can just copy over the files onto the same DVD... I'm pretty sure if you have a "program files" directory on the cd's you can simply copy all the contents into that directory and burn away... But as I said, MSI installers are very easy, and I haven't had much luck with the other installation types. Hope it helps
