You can run any window manager in any linux distro... Apt-Get is for Debian based Distros such as the known ubuntu and debian itself Yum is for RPM Based Distros such as RedHat and the such All linux distros support source compiling, thats the best way to do it, because you can remove stuff from programs you don't want or don't use, so yeah I wouldn't say I'm a guru I just knowledgeable.... plus those people on Ubuntu-Forums are really mean, and aren't very helpful, I should know, I got banned for asking a simple question... lmao
