  1. I have problem running GTalk under Vista. It can't connect. The error I get is: Could not connect to the Google Talk service (error -2146893019) I didn't find any solution anywhere on the Internet. Is there a solution?
  2. It seems I removed something from windows installation that prevents it to start application installations from RunOnceEx. I can't find what shouldn't be removed. Anyone any idea? EDIT: Just found that theunknown found solution. View this thread: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=86142 LAST_SESSION.INI
  3. I made SPTD v1.35 nLite addon. If anyone could try it. Right now I can't try it myself (maybe tomorrow). Thanks goes to Shark007 who made silent installer. sptd135.rar
  4. You should try to use RyanVM's update pack and nLite or RyanVM's integrator. Here is the link to addon for .NET 1.1 and 2.0 for use with either of these programs. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=75109 You can download .Net 1.1 and 2.0 silent installers from http://www.ryanvm.net/msfn/ and use them in RunOnceEx like you said. Hope this helps
  5. What do you mean with that "Modified HAL"? Could you explain a little bit? As far as I know that is not possible. Windows wil start to boot in another machine, but if it's different chipset you will end up with BSOD saying: Inaccessible boot device. Maybe you know something I don't.
  6. You can do that. I do it all the time. Any program like WinISO will do (MagicISO, UltraISO, ...). It might be a good idea to first delete old winnt.sif from ISO file and then add new one. I had problems few times when i didn't delete the old file before adding new one. It might be due to a program bug (I used UltraISO).
  7. The switch /INTEGRATE doesn't work anymore. I tried today with final version. It unpacks files, and then shows help screen with valid switches. The /INTEGRATE is not listed. See attachment.
  8. I need to change registry key permission from command prompt. I tried subinacl.exe from windows 2003 Resource Kit Tools. This is the command I am using: subinacl /subkeyreg \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ISDelta /grant=Users=f This the output: +subkeyreg \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ISDelta /grant=Users=f Elapsed Time: 00 00:00:00 Done: 0, Modified 0, Failed 0, Syntax errors 0 And of course the permissions aren't changed. I can't figure out what am I doing wrong. I tried as user that is administrator, and I tried as Administrator. Doesn't work. Can anyone help?
  9. If someone is interested, for net command to properly work do not remove Network Setup Wizard. Maybe there is also some other more serious bug.
  10. When I try to map a network drive like this: net use f: \\192.168.12.5\share ... and 192.168.12.5 doesn't exist I am asked for username instead of getting System error 53 (Network path not found). What did I remove? Here is my Last Session.ini Last_Session.ini P.S. On a machine with regular XP I do get Network path not found.
  11. Thanks for your reply. The PC is not under a domain, didn't modify local strategy, no updates (XP with integrated SP2), there is lusrmgr.msc and not usermgmt.msc.
  12. In Computer Management I have a problem with Local users and groups. When I click on Local users and groups it sais "Unable to access the computer..." See the picture. What could be the problem? Title edited -- Please, use [TAGS] in your topic's title. --Sonic
