I have been using the multi-process mode since it was introduced into the original FF52 you just can't imagine how sluggish and stressful firefox forks are with 1 single process but some users seems to be happy with it, maybe they don't open more than 2 tabs at a time....

this issue was solved since the release of the rebuild 7 @NotHereToPlayGames with Win7 x64 and original chrome I can have more than 100 active tabs (yes active, not only open) at a time and RAM consumption is just about 3GB... I never understood the problem around chrome RAM usage because 99% of computers shipped with W7 already had 4GB of RAM or more.

I'm not trying to disable webGL, I was just curious about it being enabled all the time with the non-webGL based browsers I mostly use the executable from the application folder because I believe it's safer and will be easier to restore the previous session right after a power outage.

as I mentioned before I never use the main loader.exe and maybe the loader.ini is not involved on it sometimes when I launch the browser after several hours of no use it gets hooked on a blank screen (previous releases didn't have this issue) then I restart it and restore the previous session with Win7 it's even worse, it's totally unusable until I restart Windows, the mouse cursor goes into an infinite loop

the virtual maps that supposedly need webGL do work perfect on the non webGL rebuild 8 browsers. are you sure the rebuild 8 with or without webGL is actually not the same thing ?

if you run XP from a virtual machine or it's not your primary system that's the best turnaround for most users @Ryder252 that way you don't bother downloading updates the NET framework AIO is safe to use though

I have already deleted the crap PANDA DOME. the user interface looks terrible to my eyes with sliding hidden menus and awuful visual style, this is one out of many reasons why I hate the modern Windows editions. it's slower overall whether scanning files or launching the program than is AVAST I have a folder on the desktop with 8 malicious files (they are not false positives) all them flagged by AVAST but this PANDA DOME did only spot 1 out of 8 more, I have another folder with a virus and this PANDA DOME showed it was moved into the virus chest which is not true. more, if you restore a file from the virus chest PANDA DOME will not flag it over again because it will be seen as a clean file which is not true more, I restarted the computer and to my surprise the virus chest got wiped out for no apparent reason. more, the report log displays ''unknown name'' so it's not even able to tell the name of the suspicious detected trojans. the only plus side of PANDA DOME is that it allows you to fully disable it to prevent any service from loading on startup, this is not possible with AVAST long story short short I don't recommend the crap PANDA DOME to anyone a recent review claimed BIT DEFENDER to be the best scoring AV and AVAST in second place but it doesn't support XP anymore unfortunately
