I wanted to ensure it was a browser shortcoming when struggling on Yahoo mail so I tested the rebuild 3 with W7 (rebuild 7 doesn't work) and I didn't notice any significant difference. I can't tell if the @NotHereToPlayGames browser is ''severely outdated'' because Yahoo released the newer UI long before chrome 86 came to light on the other hand Gmail works perfect and fast enough (even with sluggish Firefox forks) so in my opinion Yahoo mail has actually not been well optimized- 2,321 replies

I suspect the cause is your weak hardware not AVAST itself because I can't reproduce that feel here my only concern with AVAST are the remote telemetry connections and I don't know what actual data is being transferred over to AVAST servers. I tried to block their servers IP with the systems32/ hosts file but they get deleted as soon as I close the file... it's AVAST that found out a way to perform this trap of course

my ASUS router has an option in the firmware settings for -Yandex.DNS- it's disabled by default but I have no idea why it's been included in the router parameters. -

does it have to do with the browser being outdated or XP ? Yahoo mail has always been my primary email service there's no way to get it run smoothly since they moved over to a newer UI (there's an option in the settings to revert it and switch back to the classic layout but I don't like it anymore) however on W7 Yahoo mail runs perfect with any browser....- 2,321 replies

I have tried out just about 100-300 china made browsers and most are obsolote and unusable these days. there's a member out there on a russian forum which apparently is the one behind the modified version of 360SE (not 360EE) I thought he was using XP until he said he was actually using W7 and liked this chinese browser better for whatever reason I can't recall....

it rarely happens here, the text goes blank or it's unreadable (striked out) the best possible solution is to restart the browser, if you can't do it right way, just copy the url address and past it in a new tab.- 2,321 replies

from reddit. ''Don't use 360 chrome no matter how hard this dude ships for it. The following is from Wikipedia. In 2012, a whistleblower reported a hidden backdoor in 360 Secure Browser. The Product Director of 360 Secure Browser, Tao Weihua, responded that "Whoever has a mind to beat a dog will always be able to find a stick" and accused the whistleblower of "smearing 360 on behalf of Baidu", which the whistleblower said was "the worst professional response in history". Independent analysis of the claim showed that the browser has an "undeclared mechanism (i.e., via ExtSmartWiz.dll) which connects to the server on a regular basis (e.g., every 5 minutes), and allows it to download files of any type (including executables) from the server."- 2,321 replies

it's a browser based on a very old engine which has nothing to do with the original FF52 engine. on the other hand, the 360EE @NotHereToPlayGames struggles with twitter timeline but it does the job well enough on FB or new reddit by now.... I rather prefer the FF visual layout over chrome but the Serpent browser is mostly crap when it comes to addons and extensions availability- 2,321 replies

I think I found out the intruder. I have used this extension to temporarily disable all extensions https://browsernative.com/disable-chrome-extensions-apps/ then I tried different words on the upper google search bar in order to find one that would trigger the issue I have just discovered that when this extension is enabled it will pop the error window off https://browsernative.com/user-agent-chrome-extension/

is it a browser flaw or is it my computer ? most times I try to search something in google.com or use the top search bar I get an error window and this gets me to restart the browser. it doesn't crash but I have to manually shutdown the browser because it freezes. I don't recall any other site behaving this way, it's only in google.com
