I use the multi process function ever since it was made available for the original FF52. it works so much smoother than any other crap updated fork. also that was the only reason why I dropped the sluggish Mypal28 in favor of the Serpent52... @roytam1

my first impression, chrome360 still runs much smoother and I have gotten another BSOD this is the main reason why Mypal68 has never been a real alternative. https://github.com/Feodor2/Mypal68/issues/3 moreover, uBlock doesn't seem to work despite being correctly installed

I agree with you as I also like installers better but for web browsers I don't care much any more. I for one have had several issues with the original Firefox which was unable to start because of some registry problems hence I prefer the portable editions now.

Firefox forks ? security researchers found out back in 2020 some unexpected telemetry connections during start up on the original Firefox Quantum toward Mozilla servers. I can't recall if they were using WireShark or a more sophisticaded tool. like this https://www.reddit.com/r/PrivacyGuides/comments/z6rq1f/this_study_says_firefox_leaks_a_lot_of_info_and/

I personally don't use any real time AV. every time I got infected was because I downloaded and installed software that I didn't check carefully (some times Virus Total reports trojans on software utilities from legit sources) my question is, how can one infect XP by visiting a website ? when I check out my email spam folder I'm able to distinguish fishing type links from safe links.
