Here's a guide to a newer driver I made for the 1000 series. https://msfn.org/board/topic/184056-breakthrough-p2-new-pascal-special-microsoft-nvidia-driver-port-for-vista-x64/

GTX Titan X 12GB, GTX Titan Black is the minimum, bare minimum. 780 ti and 980 both suck because the VRAM is low. I tried them both and and in most modern DX11 games - not enough memory.

I remembered the name. h264ify https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/h264ify/aleakchihdccplidncghkekgioiakgal?hl=en https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/h264ify/

Honesty, is what also like in you.

In a huge contrast to this wonderful kernel project, nothing good is happening to the russian (stolen from the American XP) ReactOS. So let it go the way it is.

You make an acc., you write one word, I can hear the accent, I know It's you, I don't need to check your IP. Let me remind, I never had any form of beef with you, I don't have any prejudgments towards you. But, a big but - I was under the impression you are here for a clean start, no ? I'm still somewhat glad you're here, you're a funny fella. Seeing this crap resurfacing again in any form/shape, and knowing some of the previous crap you're capable of, I have a favour to ask, just freaking leave win32 alone and don't remind him of any unpleasantries, he is under my personal protection along with Astroskipper, Dave-H and a small amount of some others (don't remember their names, I just woke up, check with me later, will ya), but these ones are especially not be messed with. I can't write - go and have fun with the others, 'cause it would be against the forum's policy. Win32 is a person of creativity, he's an artist. He needs positive stuff to get inspiration, don't you freakin' understand ?!??!?

You're welcome. This is quite simple : 1st - for firefox, youtube usually serves H264 (less CPU hungry, so less stuttering). 2nd - for chrome, usually AV1, VP8, VP9, H265 (very CPU hungry). You may try to play with the spoofing of the User Agent, but youtube can also identify the browser by some other means of fingerprinting. I know there are extensions to tell youtube to use H264 1080p only, but never used them myself.

@win32, btw , you wrote you don't have that file when you install the driver , right ? So I installed 456.71 on a spare Win 7 PC with GTX780Ti, just to look what files are created, so here I made an export : 456.71 filename full.txt nvDevTools.dll nvDevToolsR.dll nvdisps.dll nvdispsr.dll nvgames.dll nvgamesr.dll nvlicensings.dll nvLicensingSR.dll nvmccss.dll nvmccssr.dll nvmobls.dll nvmoblsr.dll nvsmartmax.dll nvsmartmax64.dll nvsmartmaxapp.exe nvsmartmaxapp64.exe nvsvs.dll nvsvsr.dll nvui.dll nvuir.dll nvvitvs.dll nvvitvsr.dll nvwss.dll nvwssr.dll nvxdapix.dll nvxdbat.dll nvxdplcy.dll In reality , one can delete everything except these : nvdisps.dll nvdispsr.dll nvgames.dll nvgamesr.dll nvsmartmax.dll nvsmartmax64.dll nvsmartmaxapp.exe nvsmartmaxapp64.exe nvui.dll nvuir.dll nvvitvs.dll nvvitvsr.dll nvxdapix.dll nvxdbat.dll nvxdplcy.dll

Mine doesn't . That's why I included the manual patching process with WinHex in the tutorial. Which version do you run ? I guess I was wrong when I thought it would eliminate questions like from the above.

You defo need to read before you post, all of that was tested by me a long time ago (including the 391.35). The NVCPL in the 39x.xx does NOT work.

1 - This community is based on trust (it can be found in the rules). No one pays me for this job. 2 - No, none of these will be made public to prevent the KGB/FSB getting their hands on them. We are not silly to help them run huge quantities of old computers in their department/state and not to pay Microsoft for the new products.

Chinese forks have their own codecs, so you don't need any codecs at all. One exception is chinese Opera that doesn't have its own H264. But then again, MP4 is not a codec per se, it's a container (somewhat similar to MKV, etc). Inside of it you will find H265, x264, H263 etc.

For startes, first reason. Because that plonkers banned @win32. (I actually discovered it quite recently). Tell me, what kind of creature one needs to be, to ban win32 ? I can't write insulting words here... Second, there's no one there who could help me with anything I want. Third, annoying spam from them. Silly language (like 12 y.o. children). Fourth - two and a half users there. Enough ? Some of you write how wonderful that weird website is, however you're all still here. EDIT: Not to mention security issues and very questionable content (RAR, 7ZIP) on their "website".

It all comes to down to our hobbies in the end. Hobbies are a very good distraction, actually ! As of I now, I'm pretty much distracted with MK11, still without sound though, lol. During spring/summer I was busy with cleansing this world off of the rerds by reducing their quantities in real life, so I found myself a good combination - gaming/real life action. I shall soon get bored again and start to seek for a new female, but this time I want to use a software to find the exact type I want, And seems like no one wants to help me. Could be a good new hobbie.

Chrome 110-based Opera - I ported it to Vista.
D.Draker replied to D.Draker's topic in Windows Vista
I successfully ported newly released Opera Version: 96.0.4674.0 System:Windows Vista 64-bit Chromium version:110.0.5481.30 -
For those who were seeking "official" confirmation. Opera finally admits they lied . After I pressured them ? I dunno. A reminder : 96 is based on chrome 110, which I ported to Vista. https://blogs.opera.com/desktop/changelog-for-96/ "DNA-104390 Remove Windows 7, 8 support ..." https://msfn.org/board/topic/184249-chrome-110-based-opera-i-ported-it-to-vista/

Thank you, I'll try, update for CloseHandle, it crashed, unfortunately. After some time I could only get a white (hardware) cursor in the game. So i'll stay with my 1st variant for some time and see if works for more than several hours. With it I get occasional frame drops, but nothing awful.

1 - Worked ! 2 - Very long (doesn't fit the old one) 3 - Query.. is very long and GerEnv. is not found in the kernel, and I can't change the imports. It's just too many of them to edit.

@win32 hi, could you suggest a real replacement for these ? Just stubs don't work for this precise case. Thank you ! GetMaximumProcessorCount this one somewhat worked if replaced to GetCurrentProcessorNumber These below didn't work if stubbed. GetThreadIdealProcessorEx K32GetModuleInformation K32GetProcessMemoryInfo
