  1. All the mui files are found in en-US in system32. Remember that, you may need to find a different folder for your language. (example: fr-FR for French, de-DE for German, ja-JP for Japanese, etc.)
  2. My pleasure
  3. Welcome to MSFN, @teclillass! Have a nice day.
  4. To put it simply, I hate it. I prefer permanent standard time (real time). Good thing is, I keep DST disabled on my main system, and on my VMs I own (and every VM I create), to prevent time forwarding, since it misleads me.
  5. Yes, it can be added if you select "All Files (*.*)" in the Browse window from "Add a Program" window, though I am not sure if they can also be affected like executables or not.
  6. Yes, I completely got used to it months ago. While I do agree that it does sound a bit annoying, I think of it as an improvement, at least in my opinion.
  7. You're very welcome. I'm glad you liked the theme. I'm sure you will find a lot of interesting themes there too.
  8. The reason why this happens is because of the menu positioning changing (since it's almost close to the top edge of the taskbar), so the icons change sides. This is probably what you are referring to, right?
  9. I understand. It was just a matter of expressing my opinion about it. It's not like I hate Windows 8 network layout. Still a great opinion.
  10. While ExplorerPatcher is indeed nice, it's sad that it doesn't have the option to show Windows 7 network layout. I know we have Windows 8 network layout option, but the fact that it covers the right edge of the screen is what puzzles me about it, something which Windows 7 network layout doesn't do.
  11. Good idea. And what do you mean by "missing my mouse"? Do you mean "messing my mouse" instead?
  12. Aero glass for Windows 10 supports versions up to v1909 only. https://www.glass8.eu/download
  13. Of course! So that was why this happens. LOL! And thanks.
  14. @AstroSkipper Wait, I know why now. It's because in your guide, the dot is included as a part of the last site link (see the end of this quote, it has the dot bolded):
  15. More likely because you were right about performing it manually, so yeah.
  16. Yeah, you were right. I thought I had added this site to the list, but instead, It seems I added "http://update.microsoft.com." to the list, which caused this problem. Anyways, thanks, It's working fine for me now after adding it to the list.
  17. Well, everything is working fine for me now, but there's just this little tick which puzzles me: I can call up Windows Update fine using Start Menu, but the same can't be done for Microsoft Update, because it redirects me to this site: A little help on solving this would be great and appreciated. I installed Microsoft Update using this guide. Well, when I reset my VM and done all the steps of your guide again (but manually this time), I got the same results as you and @Dave-H's: that it worked without unblocking wuauclt.exe.
  18. More like a Windows 7 theme. I got it right here: https://www.deviantart.com/ebhefgyxp/art/Aero-7-XP-807725030
  19. I have a surprise for you : It works too with Firewall ON and with wuauclt.exe added as exception! I love you my man, you are the best! Thank you!
  20. I'll do so, but my VM is in the process of installing the updates now. So, maybe later.
  21. A small update: When I turned off Windows Firewall, Windows Update worked for me! Installation of updates is working as well!
  22. In my opinion, I think Windows 7 and 8 need an extended kernel. I don't think Windows 8.1 needs one, which like you said, can have the latest versions of some software with workarounds/modifications.
  23. No, I didn't. I keep my VM as it is without any antiviruses.
  24. Here is the log: https://drive.google.com/file/d/13GY7DvA8MwkZVtsiOdUjkl9ODBhC5tUU/view?usp=sharing And I am not sure what you mean by "https scanning". I looked around my Windows Firewall settings and found no such feature.
  25. Yes. It said to me "Windows is already activated".
