    Yes, you are right about that one, Vista SP1's more exact version is 6.0.6001, while SP2 is 6.0.6002. Also, thank you for checking.

    So I've recently installed Vista Home Premium on a VM (for testing purposes) and after fully updating it till April 2017 updates, I noticed that WMP version number in it is still lower than version of WMP I have installed on my actual Vista? VM: Actual Vista: The only difference between the two is that my actual Vista is fully updated with all post EOL Server 2008 updates (except the Spectre/Meltdown ones), while the other is only updated till April 2017 (also, I'm running Vista Home Premium in the VM while using Home Basic version on my laptop), could it be that one of em bumped the version of WMP? I'm really confused.

    Yes, I meant Home Basic, though simply Home sounds better to me. And yes, adding Starter edition would be cool too, although I personally think that simply putting Vista on this list as either Vista x86 and x64 would be even better, don't think there needs to be so many entries for 1 OS, W7 and later only have x86 and x64 entries and it's perfectly fine.

    @VistaLover Thank you for checking that. I've upgraded just now to 28.3 and it seems to work fine, don't know what was causing the crashes earlier, but it seems to be gone now.

    Using the same version of NM and it displays correctly, so I think it's something on your end. Maybe try clearing cookies/cache?

    Weird, I got it working without having to modify any files. Oh well, maybe I should've tried that on a Chromium 49 based browser as well. Will edit this post if my test comes up with the same results. Edit: Seems that @heinoganda is right, you have to do what he did in order to get the latest version of uBO from Chrome Store running under regular Chrome/Chromium, however, Opera seems to be an exception since I was able to install the latest version of uBO in both version 36 and 37 without having to modify any files, though in its case you need a separate addon that lets you install extensions from Chrome Store, since uBO in Opera's own store seems to be an older version (1.17.0 as of writing this post, or rather, editing it), but once it gets updated there, it should install without having to modify any file as well (and block ads properly).

    This might be interesting to people, who have been claiming that uBO no longer works under chrome 49/50, I've decided to install uBO 1.17.4 under Opera 37 (based on Chromium 50) to see, if it really is broken, and.. it seems to block ads just fine. Now I don't know if it's because I'm using Opera, but I feel like it should work on other chrome based browsers available for XP/Vista as well (not sure they are that different though). So to me it looks like the issue some people here had in october was only a temporary one? Not really sure about that either.

    Didn't they they jump from 12.3 straight to version 17? I'm pretty sure they did, version 12.3 was pretty good, while version 17 and later were gradually getting worse, which led me to removing Avast after being a loyal user since the infamous version 4.8 (at least infamous in Poland lol).

    Yeah, I'm using Aeromoon, was even going to mention that but for some reason I didn't... at least now I know why I didn't have the speaker icon, thank you.

    Well, I've tried completely removing ENT and well... after doing so and restarting NM, the ability to mute specific tabs has disappeared and I really have no idea why that happened. I'm using the very last build of NM 28.2 right now, can't upgrade to 28.3, since for whatever reason, it simply keeps crashing upon start.

    There's no need for addons though, in Pale Moon's case, you can set any user agent you want in about:config, you (or rather, Jaguarek in this case) just have to: 1. Type about:config in the address bar, press enter and confirm the warning. 2. Right click anywhere and from the menu choose New -> String 3. In the dialog box, add this as the preference name: general.useragent.override.discordapp.com 4. Set this: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:63.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/63.0 As the string value, then click OK. (You also can obviously set NT 6.0 instead of 6.1, but there are sadly a couple sites which refuse to work for whatever reason, if they detect NT version any lower than the one of Windows 7.)

    I get it that there's no way to install the english version of KEx on a non-english version of W2000?

    Well, I secretly hope they keep XP updates on their servers for some time, since, if they get rid of them, it means they will get rid of Windows 2000 updates as well :(.

    @DanR20 That's reddit for ya, no criticism about whatever a subreddit is about, is allowed, that's why I stopped using it completely (it was, and still is, going downhill anyway).
