  1. Gotta agree with dencorso and others, it's horrible both as a video and an mp3 player.
  2. @simonsat Do they work with current NM release? (I mean, does the error I have mentioned a couple days ago, still appear?) Okay, I have managed to check it for myself and it seems that indeed they fix this error and are also compatible with current NM version.
  3. I did check it out, and, well.. Edit: Nvm, I now noticed that you have the 32-bit version in your repository, but looks like I already have it installed so I probably will be fine when April comes. (been following this thread since the time when Vista was EOL'd last year, only now made an account, also wanted to thank all people who have been keeping this thread alive since then, you guys are awesome) And yes, you're right about Microsoft incorporating it into Monthly Rollups (March 2019 one to be exact, as said in the ghacks link I've mentioned earlier):
  4. ...I have no idea what's happening then, especially since I last installed Steam, it worked fine too (and that was like a month ago).
  5. @kitaro1 Thanks for the link but I think I'll stay with roy's fork, for now I have downgraded to previous version of NM, will probably upgrade again once language packs are updated to be compatible with newer versions.
  6. Anyone else with Steam installed on their Vista machine has this issue or is it just me? I've installed Steam again a couple days ago because I wanted to play some of my games I bought specifically for this old laptop of mine, but noticed that mouse scroll seems to not work at all, at least in the browser part of Steam, i.e. when you browse the Steam Store or your profile, but seems to work whenever I click the library tab and want to browse the list of games I have bought. Any ideas on how to fix this? Or should I report it to Valve, hoping that they will fix it though it's kinda doubtful since Vista (and XP) got about a month of support left? I've only tried reinstalling the Steam client, but sadly it didn't help. :(
  7. As far as I know, language packs ain't compatible with any version of Basilisk at all. Or rather the PM ones, since there are no language packs specifically for Basilisk.
  8. Not sure if it's the right topic to post in but: According to this: https://www.ghacks.net/2018/11/20/running-windows-7-or-server-2008-you-will-need-this-patch/ Beginning in April next year, Microsoft will sign all updates for Server 2008 using SHA-2 instead of SHA-1, also they will release an update about a month earlier that adds SHA-2 compatibility to Server 2008. I just hope that this update will be compatible with Vista as well.
  9. Looks like language packs are not compatible with today's update of NM? After updating the browser and starting it, I'm getting this error: Then it disappears after a second and NM starts as usual, but it reverts back to the default english language (also the general.useragent.locale pref in about:config reverts back to en-US).
