anybody here know how to write GetEx and PutEx method in ADSI in JScript. (example pls)? if you know how to do it, pls share. i tried to write it but nothing works. I didn't have any problem when i wrote them in VBScript. THANKS

i use defragment tool from EXECUTIVE. It's fast and works well. i defrag my hard drives at least 1 / week WITHOUT having much activity. If i install or remove many software or move files from 1 partition to another in 1 day, i defrag my compuer immediately so that everything can run smoothly.

1-files on CD barely goes bad UNLESS cd is BAD. If your purchased CD is bad, you can call MS and tell them to send you a NEW one for FREE 2-the easy to do is to integrate SP2 into WINXP setup folder. In the end, you will have everything including SP2

i have a problem running WMI script using CIM_DATAFILE class on my winxp SP2 computer. i wonder if you have the same problem. If Anybody here knows what CIM_DATAFILE class in WMI is, can you run a small script which contains this class to see if you have any problem.? thank you

yes, it is safe to delete everything in this folder. in fact, i do that in the end of every month. My computer runs smoothly because there is no old prefetched file there

if you don't have an antivirus or antispy software, download nod32+MS antispyware. They are free. after installing them, update them with latest definition and run them in safe mode. it should take care of your problems

go to SAFE MODE and run your antivirus / antispyware. You will have a better result because no file is in use.

who said that WMI is not available.? the reason why you don't a lot of scripts here because people don't know how to do it if you have a winxp installed in your machine, it is available. you simply have to install WMI from MS for other machines. i know WMI and all MS scripts. i will see what i can do.

anybody here has a winxp SP2 optmizaed registry file.? if so, pls share. I tried to find a way to disable some of winxp SP2 services. i know blackviper used to have for SP1 but not SP2 thanks

You need to have a MS WINXP CD. how do you know if it is MS.? pop it in and see if setup runs file. Try again

My windows xp behaves strangely lately. When I move a program from desktop to another location, everything works EXCEPT this program is still in my desktop in the end. Shouldn't it be gone.? how can i fix this problem.? thank you
