Instead of posting 3 questions in different thread, i decide to post them so that you can answer them all. 1-I tried to use mkimage.cmd from winpe folder to make an image of my XP integrated SP2+hotfixes but it doesn't work. I used exact command but it produces no result. how can i fix this problem.? 2-I am looking away to slipstream movies maker 2.1 into windows xp unattended setup but couldn't find a post in this forum. If you find it or have a solution, please let me know. 3- How can I get rid of "welcome to windows" screen during windows xp unattended set up.? I mean the one ask you to activate winxp or automatically update, enter your name for a different account.? thank you very much.

mySQL is working fine so are PHP and apache. i activate mysql.dll extension from apache how can i set up a user account in MySQL and PHP's connection call uses this account and password. ? I want to know how these things interact when i'm done. thanks

it's a sad new instead. I remember there is a MS web site which posts all the individual hotfixes for windows xp. I thin it is a coporate windows update web site BUT i can't find it if you know where, please post a link here so that i can download all individual POST SP2 hotfixes. thanks. 1 more question. I can save my time by not downloading all POST SP2 hotfixes if somebody here tell me how to *extract* these hotfixes from RVM updated package??? thank you very much.

i downloaded this hacked file and want to put it in my winxp SP2 computer (not unattended thing). do i need to rename from sy_ to sys and copy it to system32.??? will it work?? thanks

I received SP2 cd from MS yesterday and i have RVM post SP2 hotfixes. I want to apply all POST winxp SP2 hotfixes to this SP2 cd (not winxp CD or not winxp SP2 CD). ONLY SP2 CD how can i do that.? I want to carry this SP2 cd to update other computers WITHOUT re-installing winxp SP2 again. thank you very much

I have 2 questions 1- I want apache, PHP, and mysql to work together. I have these installed together. So far, my apache and php are good. I don't know how to configure mysql to work with apache and PHP. If you know, please let me know. 2-I want to host a web site using above mentioned programs on my computer. i have winxp pro SP2 INSTALLED in my computer. Does anybody here have any hotfix (criticial and non-crticial) downloaded OFFLINE and save in 1 big file so that other can download and install at 1 time.??? if so, please post it here. Save a lot of time. thank you

the bad news is my monitor is out of warranty last february. Therefore, i can't send it to viewsonic to replace/ repair. i emailed viewsonic's support team but these guys are not doing anything significant at all. May be, i got in touch with wrong people who are not knowledgeable enough about their own hardware. if i have more money the end of this month, i'll get a new monitor

this happens quite often and I am not sure what causes it. if i don't see anything on my monitor, i turn my monitor off and press and hold *ON" button of monitor and everything is OK again. not sure what really happens. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It really annoys me a lot. here is the thing i try to understand why my monitor gives a CLICK sound right away when i turn it on and NOTHING works??? if it gives CLICK sound after a brief of silence , everything is COOL again. if you know why it acts like that., pls let me know

i know it is a modem problem because it mentions about usrpda.exe which is a utility program of usrobotic modem. i didn't have this problem when i installed SP1. i did slipstream SP2 in winxp pro and format and re-install windows BUT it gives me the same result. i check another post somewhere in this forum and other people have the same problem BUT none of their solution is really helpful or solves anything. i'm still looking for a solution. Hello everybody, i'm new to winpe and i have 2 questions 1-I read an article from MS about factory.exe and netcfg.exe in winpe process. Do i really need these files to create winpe CD.? Are these files in winxp pro CD? 2-I have winpe folder and would like to create a winpe CD. How can i do it or where is a good article to show how to do it (a step instruction).? thank you very much.

I have 1 question about the registry tweak thing for unattended installation. i have winxp pro and use a "group policy" in MMC to change windows XP setting. I don't know where these changes are in the registry file. do you know.? if you know, please let me know so that i can save in a registry file. Apparently, i always re-do all the tweaking from this group policy if i re-install windows . I don't want to do that again. thank you very much

Hello there, I have 1 annoying problem with my VIEWSONIC PF790. When i turn on this monitor and if i hear a "clicking" sound right away, my monitor won't display anything on its screen. BUT if i hear nothing following by a "clicking" sound from the monitor, i will see "no signal" message and my monitor will display information of my computer. i want to know why viewsonic pf790 does that.? and is there away to fix this problem because it annoys me.? thank you very much and hope to hear from you soon.

i have 56k US robotic modem installed in winxp PRO. It was fine after installing SP1. After installing SP2, i receive error message "DLL failed to initialize when windows station is shutting down" when I shutdown or restart my computer. Of course, i'm using windows XP driver for this modem because it worked fine with SP1. ANYBODY knows the solution for this problem.???? thank you very much.
