definitely. i always burn my dvds at 8x just b/c i dont want something to mess up. it only takes ~8min at 8x so i could care less.

the colors are off? just curious, what size monitor do you have? the pixels prolly have to stretch. starcraft looks like crap on my 19" monitor but AOE looked fine.

For the money that a good 7900GS would cost you could just go with a 7950GT. NewEgg has the BFG 7950GT 256MB for ~$180. XFX 7900GS - 256MB 256-bit DDR3 / 450MHz Core / 1320MHz Memory / 20 pixel pipelines Or BFG 7950GT - 256MB 256-bit DDR3 / 565MHz Core / 1430MHz Memory / 24 pixel pipelines They're the same price... I 3rd the NVIDIA suggestion though. i too would go nvidia. the 8800gts 320mb costs a little too much for him tho so get a 7900gs/8600gts.

you dont need to cheat to beat it, lol. i beat it in a day, co-op. single player is tough tho..

i consented many people about my parts, i didnt just pick random parts. i knew you guys would do this so thats why i didnt make a thread here. and i will say this again, the premium version fixed alot of the bugs that the deluxe and others have. why would 4x1 be better for my system, what exactly does that mean? i have a friend who works for mushkin, he know ALOT about memory. the set that i am getting is very good, i have seen many reviews/benchmarks of it. im not getting the case for the inverted atx, i never said that i was. i love the looks of the case, it has plenty of space, and it is a high quality case, and i am getting a good deal on it. and zxian, if you feel like i could have done better, then why do you continue to attack me? there is no reason for that. as a moderator you should know better. im through with this thread, you guys ruined it.

well i just bought it and i do need the space. right now i have a 320gb and an 80gb drive. im selling my 80gb drive, its pretty crappy anways. therefore i need to put the data on there somewhere. it's only $80 for a 320gb at newegg so im not complaining. and power consumption? how much better is it? 1-2 watts? that's not much of a temp difference there. my hdds are also running at ~30C, as long as there is a fan nearby they will be good.

well i've been thinking about hard drives and i've decided to just buy another 320GB drive for now, can't RAID it yet since i will lose all of the data on my current 320GB drive.. then i'll just wait till the 7200.11 500GB 32MB cache drive comes out and i'll check into getting that, then i will put my 2x320GB drives in RAID0. does that sound like a plan

TinyMCE is pretty good, i just installed it on a site i'm doing, very easy to use/setup.

the space you are loosing is normal for any hdd, search the forum, there are plenty of posts on it, the manufacturers dont advertise the actual space. as for the RAID being screwed up, im not too sure, are you positive that you set it up correctly in the BIOS? have you tried formatting the drives in computer management?
