  1. thats strange b/c the 'Realtek AC'97 Audio for VIA Audio Controller' is included in the realtek driver that i linked in my first post... go into device manager, right click 'Realtek AC'97 Audio for VIA Audio Controller' and click update driver, then click no not at this time, then advanced, then browse to the folder for the realtek driver and install it
  2. ncq will help a little that hdd you have there is actually a very good one just make sure that your motherboard has sata, to get the full speede out of it you need sata

  5. well what we are doing allows us to optimize much more than nlite does. the dll problems are pretty much fixed now. the speed increase in windows alone is pretty fast, i havnt had much time to mess around with games yet.. and what do u mean by secretive? what would you like to know.
  6. well do u mean if they will ship you the insulation materials? you cant make a phase change system itself prevent condenstaion, u can get close but it just wont happen. you will need to seal off the board from air...

  10. have u ever heard of phase change? i would go that route if i were you. peltier is dangerous if you cant remove the heat from the hot side fast enough. you can buy an already made one, i also know someone who makes them himself for much cheaper and they are much better. you can get temps from 0 to -100C depending on how much u wana spend. either way you go, make sure to insulate your motherboard. if u plan on running 24/7 then u will need to instulate the entire mobo

  15. Audio Multimedia Controller is your sound card and installing the realtek driver should have worked.. it does for me so your saying that there is nothing wrong in the device manager? do u have a pair of headphones just incase ur speakers are messed up ?

  18. some hdds, i think seagate, will require you to change the jumper setting on the hdd.

  20. u didnt check the asus site? they have the drivers the drivers are for a sound blaster card... so that means that u dont have realtek which is why u got the bsod http://dlsvr03.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socket...800/MBSetup.zip try this out
  21. if u install a fan on the window then it will vibrate alot, go for the bottom and of coarse ddr will be faster
  22. how much money can u spend? and do u need agp or pci-e ?
