my xp is installed on the f: drive and whenever i want to install a program,by default it want to be installed on the c: drive is there a reg key that will let me change this to the f: drive?

ya, that graphics card isnt that good, and im guessing that u should have 2 gigs of ram for vista, and its an average speed cpu

how do i change it tho? changing it with acronis partition expert only changes it in windows. my xpcd still recognizes it as f:

and i used my xpcd to go into the recovery console, my partition for x64 changed from g: to f: so how do i go about chaging the drive letter in the recvoery console? gdogg-wouldnt it give me an error of some sort of notice? i also installed this on march 11th

most of u know that i am beta testing xp gamers edition. well i was in ge and with acronis parition expert i changed the size of my partions, which worked. but now when i go to get into my x64 windows it will get to the login box, i type in my password and then nothing happens for a minute when the login box pops back up. so i type in my password again and the box immedietly pops back up. i tried the last good configuration and same thing happened i tried safe mode and the only difference is that there wasnt that first minute of waiting i can access my files thru ge but i have no clue why i cant get into my x64?

have u bought this yet? and are u gunna overclock?

what happens if u use the expert bios? will the ram work go to 3.2v? btw, my 2gig mushkin kit is at 2.6 260 3-4-3-7

well i found my problem, shortcuts can only be ran from the desktop... and im find now, btw that program is sweet

well i found something i made with autoit a while back. one of the files raises the volume and the other lowers it, but something got messed up and now when i set a hotkey noting happens. i havnt tried that program yet

also, where is the registry key for a program that i added a keyobard shortcut to?

while im playing a game i would like to be able to change the volume but the only way to do that is to minimize the game and use the volume icon in the taskbar. is there a way to set a hotkey to adjust the volume?

well i have to reclarify my statement, i reinstalled windows last week and i have not installed any security programs at all and i may not. i have been using nod32 but like said above, when was the last time u ever got a virus? the last time i got one was when i dloaded something stupid.

nod32, uses little resources and does the job very well

well im just saying that the specs on the 360 are impressive compared to my computer, but i guess not..

well i wouldl like you to get an amd64 system but... u said that u have tight memory timings? set everything in the bios to stock speeds, including the cpu.

my friend has an xbox 360 and i compared it with my computer, and the specs on the 360 "look" better.... but my computer load games much faster and the graphics are better and their are much more games. noguru- i am confused with what u said. are u saying that the 360 is better than current computers?
