  1. Thank you. I think I actually DID ask you that once, now that I hear the answer, and I apologize for the repeated question. I haven't used the installer for a long time, just the manual installation .7z files. -Noel Yea, I found that out. I had to run the installer, than copy that file to a separate folder in a save location so I wouldn't lose it.
  2. Windows 10 build 10568 has just been leaked!
  3. You can have as many different operating systems as you want on a machine, installed on as many hard drives as you want or are capable of having. Just so long as they all boot from the same boot sector, you only need ONE key.
  4. you need to read back - i change HDD's on a couple of laptops on a regular basis - i buy and sell used HDD's - they are all tested over time - so its a pain - i prefer not to see the popup and watermark so locking to a harddrive is not good and i argue not needed - but i am now accused of creating a false problem - aka i lie M$ seel an OS - this is a penny bit of software - good software but not in the same league as an OS - its the only software i know or use with this model of payment apart from an OS - not needed - put a price on a license and sell them - i point you to StartisBack - same idea - perfectly normal license agreement - what is different here i have no idea - however its stated its about money flow - maybe BM thinks he will generate more this way Actually you HAVE created a false problem. You do not need to use bigmuscle's software to test hard drives. Even if you want to use his software in your tests, and you definitely don't need to, there is nothing wrong with a watermark, or pop-up. You will still be fully capable of doing any testing you need with the watermark. You are just going on, and on, and wasting people's valuable time about your fabricated problems. You may not be a liar, but you definitely are a complainer, and a time waster. i see - you want your desktop to look as you want it - add this or that to give you your look but i am complainer and time waster for wanting the same - the HDD i am testing usually lives in my laptop for a few days at least and if its an expensive one a week or more - i like things as i want them as you do so please dont tell me what i should or should not see on the desktop locking to the motherboard is enough imo I think all you need to do is donate more money so you have a stockpile of keys. This would solve your problem. You obviously do not have enough keys. Since you have a business, the purchase could be used as a business expense, and written off.

  6. There is nothing wrong with the licensing model. You donate money, you get keys. You change hardware, and trade in old keys for new. Microsoft uses a very similar model. Windows activation is tied to hardware. This is nothing new, but bigmuscle is more lenient than Microsoft, and he makes it very easy to switch out hardware, and enter a new key. If you have multiple keys this is not a problem. How often do you switch out motherboards, and/or hard drives? Why do you continue to complain about a perfectly valid licensing model?
  7. you see it as spam - i see it as comment - you think your licencing model is correct i disagree - its your software so your choice - that does not mean everyone has to agree with you as to my post being untrue - how do you come to that - it does not agree with you but you have no exclusivity on the thuth Why don't you start a separate thread for whiners who can't spell, and post there.
  8. LOL, everything I do is basically cosmetic. The rest is intact, and I love it!
  9. Well I understand why I inform you, bigmuscle of improper functionality with every test build. It is because I care, and perhaps it will help you to develop AeroGlass for th2 when it is released. I do not expect it to work properly with each, and every test build. I am happy when it does. And what are you expecting from me? That I will completely reimplement it for every new test build? lol, not at all. Not at all.

  11. I think the default view of Windows is very nice, and it is good that color is back with a lot of options. In Windows XP. there were only three colors to choose from. There are a lot more here, and it makes it much more palatable especially given that Aeroglass by bm isn't working properly (as to be expected) with the preview builds.
  12. Indeed if you are big enough to test an experimental Beta OS you have to face the bugs and the facts and not gonne complain about it ! Exactly. Don't complain. Reporting the bugs is enough.
  13. This is a forum about Aeroglass, not about how much you think Windows 10 sucks. Start a new thread for that. I am tired of hearing it. I think it is awesome.
  14. I wasn't duped. I run it because it is simply the best OS out there.
  15. Yea, "Please help, but don't tell me how!"
  16. DLL tool to bypass UXTheme signature verification is not working on build 10565
  17. ONE doesn't require the user to change the settings upon reboot as it only needs to be applied once. It isn't for you? I am talking about a new install. I have a batch file which applies customizations. I would like to know if there are batch commands to set it up initially.
  18. Is there any way to apply settings in OldNewExplorer via commands or reg edits? I wrote a batch file which does all my customizations, but after reboot I have to run ONE, and check my boxes manually. Is there any way to do that automatically via cmd, or regedit?
  19. This little paragraph probably sums up everything: Acceptance is the answer to ALL of my problems today. When I am disturbed, it is because I find some person, place, thing or situation- some fact of my life- unacceptable to me, and I can find no serenity until I accept that person, place, thing, or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment. Nothing, absolutely nothing, happens in God's world by mistake...Unless I accept my life completely on life's terms, I cannot be happy. I need to concentrate not so much on what needs to be changed in the world as on what needs to be changed in me and in my attitudes.
  20. Much software which has a trial version only lasts for 30 days or so. I think people should be grateful.
  21. its just the look - fully agree that it matters not but i usually test the drive in the laptop for a week or so on and off with everything fully installed - so its nice to have things as i want it it does not add to the testing just the look and feel when i use the laptop my broad point is is it really needed to lock aeroglass to a harddrive - not sure even microsoft do that these days - a motherboard change - fair enough or to a specific motherboard which then locks it to a single pc or laptop i assume is surely enough protection to stop against illegal spreading of your software Is it not easier if key generating would be that you could change once a week then for example If you are just testing then what is the problem with the free version of Aeroglass with the copy hardware key, and a watermark?
  22. What about the symbols. No symbols. LOL, it is a leaked build.
  23. Aeroglass is working on build 10558. No difference from build 10547.
  24. Right now mine is at 444 K for aerohost, and 12,584 K for dwm.
  25. Very nice! In the layout file I changed all the Content Margins to 1,0,0,0, and I changed 45;0;3601=0,0,0,0 46;0;3601=0,0,0,0 47;0;3601=0,0,0,0.
