  1. 2 things: 1. The version 71.89 is officialy available @ NV Homepage. 2. Is it possible to edit the "compressed" file of the driver that the driver file contains? Because in system32 directory there is the file nvapps.xml. In this file the SLI settings for the games are stored. I am playing Counter-Strike (not Source) and added a profile. So how can I add it to the driver. The driver file from the archive is nvapps.xm_ or so.
  2. I got Version 3.0. The updater doesn't recognize the changed file. I got Win XP Pro Service Pack 2 with the latest Hotfixes by MS. And before this Hotfixes, that were released the last days, XPize worked perfectly.
  3. It's the same for me. Pls help and fix it XPero.
  4. No XPero, THANK YOU for this awesome theme. I used it, I am using it and I will continue using it when Version 3.5 has gone final.
  5. Don't know if you recognized it, but your theme has been published: WinRar Themes
  6. I think the entry [SHELL] DefaultStartPanelOff = Yes only disables the new Win XP Start Menu and enables the old Win 9x one.
  7. Do you mean the PDF File from unattended.msfn.org in the Download section? Just run the exe file and extract to the folder you want to. It will give you the pdf file and you can open it with Adobe Reader.
  8. It should be the method described in the guide, look here. It's "Enabling the Classic Billboards" I think.

    XPize for CD

The creation on dekstop should stay. Because then you can copy the files to an temporary folder and put them on the cd later, after you finished the rest. Then you don't have to run XPize everytime you wish to create a CD.
  10. Seems to be right, for me it is this code: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Video\{00D4FE2C-2B80-49F1-8362-CF32DEAC70FC}\0000] "MB_Enable"=hex:01,00,00,00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Video\{00D4FE2C-2B80-49F1-8362-CF32DEAC70FC}\0001] "MB_Enable"=hex:01,00,00,00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Video\{E5F8B27F-3185-4315-8FFB-1F8440EAAD1E}\0000] "MB_Enable"=hex:01,00,00,00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Video\{E5F8B27F-3185-4315-8FFB-1F8440EAAD1E}\0001] "MB_Enable"=hex:01,00,00,00 It seems to enable SLI, now I hope that it works on a new installation, because I don't know, how Windows generates the {00D4FE2C-2B80-49F1-8362-CF32DEAC70FC}\0000] entries. Thx kenshin
  11. Hm, yes. You have to activate it in the ForceWare driver menu. But there must be a place, where the setting is saved. And this is the place I need. =)
  12. Hey out there, is it possible to activate NVIDIA SLI on a Multi-GPU system? I got 2 GeForce 6600GT cards in my pc since 10 minutes, now how can I activate SLI unattended? Is there a regkey? I didn't find anything. (Maybe I'm too stupid.)
  13. I once did this for my SoundBlaster Audigy with RegShot. But all the registry setting I figured out did not change the settings of the control panel.
  14. Ok. First you decompress the installer. Then there is a folder called disk_1, in which the setup.exe can be found. The switch for AntiVir is ...\SETUP.EXE /SILENT @NO_SCAN But the important thing is this: The switch won't work on a system that already has AV installed, so remove your AntiVir and try again. Because of this, AntiVir will install with that switch during unattended install. The @NO_SCAN will cancel the Virus-Scan that AntiVir starts after setup. Then you only have to kill the upcoming window with CloseWindow, or an equivalent program. I use this cmd in my batch file: start /wait CloseWindow.exe /AntiVir - Personal Edition You first have to specify the path of CloseWindow.exe (for me its system32, so it can be called directly.) and then you have to give the name of the Window. For german installs it is "AntiVir - Personal Edition".
  15. Thats not possible, because of the different Hardware IDs that nvidia devices have got, I think.
  16. In the txtsetup.sif that the cmd file generates, there is the entry PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3112&SUBSYS_92151905v= "sii3112r" Shouldn't it be PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3112&SUBSYS_92151905= "sii3112r"? EDIT: and where are the si3114r5 entries in txtsetup.sif under SCSI.LOAD and Sourcedisksfiles? EDIT2: In [sCSI] you list CK8B= "NVIDIA nForce3 Parallel-Serial ATA Bridged Controller" but I can't find a hardwareId entry for CK8B.....is that right? PS: I know, I'm going on your nerves.
  17. But wait until it's final! I don't want to install that **** beta prog....
  18. Yes, I used &CC_0104, because I got the entries from your driverpack. But now I will use the entries without &CC_0104. So don't use the &CC_0104 entries. And assign the entry to the non r5 driver. My problem for now is, that my controller on the mainboard has got the ID PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_81671043 = "si3114r5" and I don't find it in any driver I got here. I REALLY DO NOT KNOW, WHERE I GOT THE DRIVER FROM. I have to search for a new driver. PS: In the 64 bit driver of the si3114r5 there are the Hardware IDs I got in my 32 bit driver.
  19. What do you mean with Windows look? Because the theme will not be integrated with the i386 method. You have to pick the theme out of your current windows. On my computer, everything works. (XPize graphics, Royal Theme, WinRar theme)
  20. Oh s***, you are right guys. I don't know where I got the driver from. The Asus website hasn't got them, the mainboard driver disk doesn't contain them, I can't find any driver that contains my Device ID ..&SUBSYS_81671043.
  21. just as lilweirddude said: vlc-0.8.1-win32.exe /S This works silent for me.
  22. Oh. You're right. The driver found on the SiliconImage HP has only 2 IDs. Even the download from Asus only contains the 2 IDs. So I don't know where I got the inf file from. Sorry. I uploaded my si3114r and si3114r5 driver to my ftp. You can download it here.
  23. Ok, here we go. I'll post my txtsetup.sif entries of si3114r and 3114r5 : [SourceDisksFiles] si3114r.sys = 1,,,,,,4_,4,1,,,1,4 si3114r5.sys = 1,,,,,,4_,4,1,,,1,4 [HardwareIdsDatabase] PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_61141095&CC_0104 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_288510F1&CC_0104 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_047AA0A0&CC_0104 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_0478A0A0&CC_0104 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_0479A0A0&CC_0104 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_90181695&CC_0104 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_F642270F&CC_0104 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_100415BD&CC_0104 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_12501462&CC_0104 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_13101462&CC_0104 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_15601462&CC_0104 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_16101462&CC_0104 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_B0031458&CC_0104 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_1B711019&CC_0104 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_61141071&CC_0104 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_003515D4&CC_0104 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_1025147B&CC_0104 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_1001147B&CC_0104 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_130A147B&CC_0104 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_1C0A147B&CC_0104 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_81361043&CC_0104 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_71141095 = "si3114r5" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_81361043 = "si3114r5" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_81671043 = "si3114r5" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_902A1695 = "si3114r5" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_310215BD = "si3114r5" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_052FA0A0 = "si3114r5" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_104A147B = "si3114r5" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_104B147B = "si3114r5" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_B0041458 = "si3114r5" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_71001462 = "si3114r5" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_71251462 = "si3114r5" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_471015D5 = "si3114r5" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_0C25105B = "si3114r5" [SCSI.Load] si3114r = si3114r.sys,4 si3114r5 = Si3114r5.sys,4 [SCSI] si3114r = "Silicon Image SiI 3114 SATARaid Controller" si3114r5 = "Silicon Image SiI 3114 SoftRAID 5 Controller" In my i386 folder i got the si3114r.sys and si3114r5.sys from the SiliconImage HP. They are not cabbed (so not si3114r.sy_). But I think thats not important.
  24. WTF!! Why did you post this into every part of the forum? What has this to do with Unattended Windows? Or with application installs or drivers? So STFU Could any admin delete these posts? I don't think that they help anyone, or do you think so?
  25. normal is si3112 and not sii3112. But look in your txtsetup.sif in the device ids section. when it also says sii3112, then the driver will be used right, because the sii3112 only tells setup, what belongs to the driver.
