  2. It's quite easy. The OEM folder has to be in the root and not in the i386 folder. Then it should work.
  3. Today, I made a new Win XP DVD with all the new Programversions and drivers that came out since 2 months. And I saw the DVD was quite perfect, but there are 2 things, I would like to know: 1) Is it possible to change the Creative Audigy Speaker setting in the Control Panel (the one included in Bashrat's pack)? Because default is 2.1 and I have got an 5.1 surround set. The control panel does not save this configuration in the registry, I already looked it up. Perhaps one can get it with an AutoIT script? Someone got experiences? 2) How can I enable Nvidia SLI Unattended? The option is in the Nvidia Control Panel. It writes entries into the registry like "MB_enable". It is at HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Cuntrol\Video\ID that changes\0000\ The problem is, that the ID of the graphic cards changes with every XP installation. Perhaps anyone got a solution? Thanks in advance.

  7. No, the file data2.cab is not saved anywhere. When I move the installation file while installing and then klick on "Install", the setup asks for the file setpoint231enu.exe. So the setup wants to get the file data2.cab out of the setpoint231enu.exe. [EDIT] The Logitech supoort told me, that Logitech does not support the silent installation of Setpoint. That's a pitty. [/EDIT]

  9. I did the scan. The file is not present while the setup is executed. Setup does it like that: When the installation file is executed, it extracts the setup files into the temp directory. When You click on the "Install" Button, it installs the files from the downloaded installation file. Thats real sh*t.
  10. No. The setup file is 28 MB. The files in Temp directory are only 1,5 MB. The setup definitively does not extract the file data2.cab to temp directory. I will contact Logitech and ask them how to get it installed silently.
  11. It is needed. When I try installing with the files that are extracted to Temp folder, the setup appears, but when I try to install, it asks for the file data2.cab. So Setup extracts it after extracting the other files.
  12. I already tried that, but in the Temp Folder, only the data1.cab is extracted. The file data2.cab does not exist. And in data2.cab, there are the main files I think.
  13. Now, the new version 2.31 of the Setpoint Software is out. It can't be extracted with WinRar. How can I get the silent Install now? WinRar was able to extract Version 2.14. Then it worked fine. Does anyone know, how to get the files from this package?

  16. No, the x64 drivers included are not the newest. For me, it will still be necessary to include my drivers.

  18. At the moment I use Windows Post Install Wizard to install my applications. You only need AutoIT for those programs that do not have silent switches etc.
  19. I think it does, but the graphics differ. The graphics from the normal version come with the royale theme, I think. And the graphics from the Unattended Version look similar to the normal graphics, but are not the same!
  20. Perhaps it would be good to work on the XPize Updater. Because I have got my own msgina.dll and want to keep it. Could it be possible to select, which files should exactly replaced. During setup and in the updater perhaps. Did anyone mention this already? Would be quite cool XPero!
  21. Version 3.5.1 has got the autorun file. Just copy the content of the WPI package into the temporary root of the CD you wish to create (to HDD first). Be sure, that the files Autorun.inf, WPI.cmd, WPI.hta and WPI.ico are in the root of your CD. Then you configure WPI the way you want. Put your apps into the "Install" directory that should exist in the root now. And thats it. Now the autorun file should call WPI.cmd. WPI.cmd prepares WPI start and then starts WPI. Any more questions? I hope it helps you semo16.

    Perhaps he thought of the royale shutdown dialog. After I installed 3.1, I had another shutdown dialog than in 3.0 I think. But it is not the original Win XP one.
  25. So a question for the developer: Could you integrate an option, where everyone can specify the file that is checked for? Because I use the WIN51 method, too. Just set the options default to wpi.ico, so that there are no probs with noobs, or just add it to the FAQ on the WPI HP. Thx in advance.
