Yes, that is quite intelligent. Does it create the reg files dependent on where Win XP is installed, because my reg file says: "UIHost"="C:\\windows\\Resources\\logonui\\EnergyBlue\\eblue.exe" Wouldn't it be better to use: "UIHost"="%systemroot%\\Resources\\logonui\\EnergyBlue\\eblue.exe"? And could XPero integrate this into XPize? P.S.: An uninstall shortcut in Startmenu would be quite nice, too.

Yeah, this is awesome. Seems to work for me. But how does your logon know, what language to use?
-
@ HeadHunter2: Does the driver posted by hp38guser work? Because I am waiting for my SoundBlaster X-Fi atm. Isn't the file ctzapxx.exe needed to finish the driver installation?
-
This is my code: cmd1[pn]=['%cdrom%\\Install\\Programme\\Winamp\\Winamp51.msi /qb-! INI="%cdrom%\\Install\\Programme\\Winamp\\Install.ini"']
-
Are you sure, that the "/passive" switch works? Because I can't see a mistake in the code from config.js. I use the switch /qb-!.
-
Just one question: Will you update the driver pack to support the new Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi? the driver is out and I think it is quite similar to the Audigy driver, it just has got the entries for X-Fi Chip in it. So the driver should be replaced perhaps. I just bought the X-Fi Fatal1ty and will look how to install it unattendedly.

Look at the XPize homepage under "Advanced info" and "Advanced information". There is an example of the switch you need to change the output directory. xpize.exe /S /mode=i386 /source=C:\XPCD\I386 /dest=C:\Users\XPero\Desktop

I only can repeat what kelsenellenelvian said. I did this a couple of times with several releases and never had any problems.
-
Yeah! Downloaded and integrated. Thank you Seven Alive! BTW: Perhaps we could sticky this thread? What do you think XPero. Then all people will find the translated logon screens quite fast.
-
Yes, quite nice, but for me it would not be so much better, only got 2 DVD drives and the only disc that is inserted during setup, is the Win XP-DVD with WPI. The batch file does not need so much time to find it. But on older systems I think, your method could be much better.
-
Why don't you call up the WPI.cmd per autorun.inf? I do it, it is the best method I would say, because the WPI.cmd calls the applies the reg file, the resolution and then calls WPI.htm.
-
So try this.
-
My mirror is updated, too. XPero got the links.
-
YESSS! Thank you Seven Alive. This is what I was talking about.
-
I think, you are going to update the logon screen, right? So it would be nice, if you would update the translated logon screens you already did, too. Understood? I hope you do it.
-
And what about the translated logon screens? Could you download the translations from XPero's HP and update them?
-
Seven Alive does not use any program to code his logon screen, so there is no app in which you could open the logon screen and change the translation settings yourself I think. But I read, that Seven Alive is working on a multilingual Logon screen.
-
YES. It is fixed for me now. Thx Alanoll. (We even got a smaller file size now )
-
@ scankurban: Install XPize 4 MCE on your system (including the logon screen, of course). Then go to your system32 folder and search for the file XPize_Logon.exe. This is the logon screen file. Note, that it is written in english language (but ask Seven Alive for a turkish translation and if he does it, send XPero the file please, because he collects translated logon screens in the DL-section of his Homepage). So now after you got the .exe file of your logon screen put it into the folder "$OEM$\$$\System32" in your UACD. Then, load a regfile with the following content: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon] "AutoAdminLogon"="0" "LogonType"=dword:00000001 "UIHost"="%systemroot%\\system32\\XPize_Logon.exe" (I just integrate AutoAdminLogon and LogonType to be sure, that the logon screen is activated and not the old win2k style login is used. So you can leave them out.)
-
OK, works for me so far. Thx for the fixed release kel.
-
Ok, here you go. But I can't seem to find anything that points out drive F:\ . EDIT: Removed attachment, bug fixed.
-
@ Alanoll No, with the Winamp 5.094 release it defenitely did not create these folders with the shortcuts in it. I don't know how why the new version does it, because I only enabled shortcuts in Startmenu (they are in start menu and in drive F:\) I did not even enable shortcut on desktop, but the installer creates the Desktop folder in drive F:\.
-
Hey Alanoll, thx for the new release. I only got one problem with the new installer. It creates the shortcuts on my harddisk F:\. There it creates the folders Desktop and Start Menu\Programs with an winamp.lnk inside. What can that be? My systemdrive is C:\. On drive F:\, there are my audio and video files. This is my Install.ini: [SETUP] Xmodernskin=1 Xaudio=1 Xnsv=1 Xwritewav=1 Xdcout=1 Xname=Dynaletik Xkey=XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX XDesktop=0 XQuicklaunch=0

Yes I did, but it does not work for me. If you only use the /bootlogo switch, the bootlogo is displayed for just a short moment, then the Win XP BootScreen comes up. And if you leave out the /bootlogo switch and only use /noguiboot then nothing will show up, only black screen. So you have to use both, /noguiboot and /bootlogo.

I've heard or read something about Seven Alive making translations of his Logon screen (the one included in XPize). Gonna ask him. Anyway the perfect thing would be having the logon tyranslated into many languages and then available on my site for download as a separate download. You would only have to replace XPize_Logon.exe in system32 and reboot <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, he did a german translation for me. Just had to send him the original file of my Win XP and he then gave me the translated version of his logonscreen. So, if anyone wants the german version, PM me.
