Is there a command to create folders in a cmd window?? I want to create some Folders and put files into them....

In the help you say that the drive letter which WPI checks is given in the Registry. My system: A: Floppy C: Partition 1 D: Partition 2 E: Partition 3 F: Partition 4 G: Partition 5 H: and that is interesting doesn't exist!!!! I: DVD-Writer J: DVD-ROM

When I use %cdrom% for installing my apps and drivers from CD WPI always wants to have disk in drive H: But my WinXP Cd is in Drive J: It works if I change the drive letter in the registry like you eplained on the WPI HP. But how can I have the right CDROM letter when Installing Win XP. Does the engine of WPI search for the WIN51 file in all drives??? Then it should run or not?

Ok...now I got the Problem...the new version 2.14 is out and this one you can extract and first use the -R and then the -s switch. So now it works

Yes I tried...but there are only some files saved in this folder...not the whole installer is in it....thats the problem....Setup is missing data2.cab because it's not in the disk1 folder.

Does anyone of you know a method how to install the Setpoint Software silent. I want to install Mouse & Trackball Drivers but i can't extract the Installation File.

Just put the following commandline into your RunOnceEx.cmd REG ADD %KEY%\085 /VE /D "Restart" /f REG ADD %KEY%\085 /V 1 /D "%systemdrive%\apps\cleanup.cmd" /f In the cmd file that is started with this just put the following lines cmdow @ /HID shutdown.exe -r -f -t 30 -c "Windows XP will restart in 30 seconds..." EXIT I would use this method if i wouldn't use WPI 2.9.3.

Yeah man....that works great!!!!!!I just edited the reg files in the CPanel folder as follows: "EnableIcon"="0" "NoAtipta"="1" "RegistrationOnLine"="OFF" defaults are (there are 4 of these files and if you modify, the ATI tray icon will not be shown. ===> Perfect Silent Install...thank you kyor

Yeah...i had an similar problem.....what is the speed you are burning your CD's with??? I burn them at 4x at the moment....try that and try again.

Hey Ryan...on my system your Installer of the Runtime Environment reboots after installation....are there any switches the install needs so that it doesn't reboot?

I got the same problem. WPI sorts the Applications in the GUI but if WPI shall run them, it runs the Apps that are at the positions in the unsorted config. Should be fixed, if you have the same order in your config as in the GUI. So the Sorting Funtcion doesn't finally work. Got an idea for a fix hasi??? Thx in advance.

I have got an LCD in the front of my PC and for using it, I need to install the Port I/O Driver by DriverLINX. Has anyone an idea how to integrate it into the Win XP CD??? So that the driver is directly loaded when installing Win XP.

Hey..great work. Upgraded my Installer and wrote it to german But one question: The descritptions I put into the config.js don't come up. In 2.0 that worked fine. Any suggestions??? EDIT: It is the same in the original v2.5, so I didn't add wrong things to the configs..
