PowerReg Scheduler.exe - doesn't seem to look like a correct name for an exe file does it? For a start, its got a space in it. and usually exe files are 8 characters in length and in lowercase letters. Have you typed it correctly? PowerReg Scheduler.exe brings up nothing at google.com

Blonde_Ginger, I ran in the same exact problem as you back in May/June on windows 2000. I had Default Monitor installed, I was unable to change/install/update a newer monitor driver, or change refresh rates, I could do nothing at all cos it was all greyed out. At the time, I had official Radeon 64mb DDR Drivers installed, when I tried out a beta radeon driver on my PC, I found that I was now able to change the Monitor device from the Diaplay > Settings > Advanced > Monitor > to a Plug and Play You said you already tried out different graphics drivers. And I'm also baffled as to why it still doesn't work. Try out some other detonator drivers which you haven't installed yet.

did you reboot after modifying the registry? thats the most important part. check your registry again.

This hasn't been asked before, but can XP's hacked NTOSKRNL.EXE files be used on win2k? I want to use the customized XP Boot screens (from http://www.lakerscenter.com ) on win2k if possible.

I understand that PC Anywhere breaks Remote Desktop as well as fast user switching and the LogonUI screen. Will uninstalling PC Anywhere get it back, or am I stuck? :nerves

Has anybody found that controlling another PC over a 100mbit LAN is slightly slow? I would have expected it to be really fast. There is some annoying slight delays in opening the start menu, scrolling a window, or anything else. Has anybody got any tips on how I can optimize this so I can get full speed. I control other PCs in 256 colour mode and its still **** slow. I would have expected it to be smooth in 16 or 24bit colour on a 100mbit!! File Transfers go at 8-10mb/sec if that's of any help. I'm confused as to why everyone says to use Morpheus instead of Edonkey. Most of the great warez and gamez on edonkey ain't on the Morpheus network! I've only found Morpheus good for MP3s, Videos, and ahem... pr0n.

Hey rick, I've had no problems on edonkey this week. Just finished downloading Aliens Vs Predator 2 ISO (2CD), World War 3 Black Gold ISO, PC Anywhere 10.5 Corporate ISO on my 56k modem this week. Other 56k Users: set download to 4 and uploads to 1 and max connections to 50 - 150 Don't set uploads to 2 because the full upload speed will affect your download speed.
