  1. Ok, i just did a new install (in real, not with WMware) with your new file and that still doesn't work at all.
  2. So both $OEM$\$1\Driverz and $OEM$\Driverz should work ? Will the installation look there during the peripheral install step ?
  3. Cheers serialzs. I'll try that now and let you know.
  4. Hello all, I've been able to customize IE pretty well with all the reg tweaks i've found on the forum. However, i'm looking for a way to get rid of all the information message dialogs which appears the first time you use IE. I don't know if you see what i mean ... For most of these messages, they appear only once (some of them have a box "don't alert me next time" or something like that already ticked). Of course i've searched on the forum ... but nothing found. I guess these tweaks exist though. My description and so the keywords i entered probably don't match. Thank you. Cheers.
  5. For Sun Java, i use : Notice i renamed the executable simply to j2re.exe but it has no incidence. I don't remember what ADDLOCAL does exactly. And IEXPLORER=1 is to add the plugin for Internet Explorer.
  6. So who has managed to make serialzs's method work ? I've tried many times with no success.
  7. Hmm thank you very but i'm confused about the method described .. We have to create a file named cdroot-cd.txt at the root of the CD ? And its content must be : Is it correct ? Then having the following 3 files in Driverz folder ? - devpath.exe - driverz.exe - presetup.cmd For the rest, i think i got it. One last question, my CD is multiboot so $OEM$ is in \Setup\XP\Professional\$OEM$ and not in the root. If it just change the path in all the command lines you posted above, it'll work ? Thanks.
  8. Problem solved for at least the association files. Check this out : http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=26081
  9. Same problem here. No driverz folder created. keul, can you attach these old files to try your hybrid method ? Thanks.
  10. Cheers codejunkie Alright ... First, i confirm finally it works with a multiboot. After some tests on an Asus P4C800-E Deluxe : - the Intel ICH5R RAID controller is found, my RAID0 stripping unit is recognized. However i haven't tried to format / install anything on it because i have no free partition to test. - the Promise Fasttrak 378 using the ATA mode (UlSata.inf), not RAID is not found, like with the old RAID pack by Ryan. I wish it was fixed in this new release but it's not Bâshrat the Sneaky, let me know if you can fix it. Thanks. EDIT : It seems the ulsata drivers inside the pack doesn't work for any Promise Fasttrak 37X in ATA mode. That'd explain why my hard drive was not found.
  11. I corrected the Add_to_txtsetupsif.txt files and it seems to work now ! At least, the install loads without the error. Thank you codejunkie !
  12. Bâshrat the Sneaky, I just tried with a normal structure and the result is exactly the same. I suppose the TXTSETUP.SIF didn't get patched properly. It's originally from a XP CD in French slipstreamed with the final SP2. By the way, it has always worked before. I never got any error with it until now with the Mass Storage driverpack pack. Can you please have a look to my files ? You'll find in the ZIP archive my original TXTSETUP.SIF and DOSNET.INF and the new ones. By comparing both, you may find the problem. Thank you very much. files.7z
  13. Nothing works here ... i need help. First of all, i'm not even sure that the method i used to integrate the drivers on my multiboot CD is correct. Please look my post there to see how my CD looks like : http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=25601&st=50 Then, i had to do some tricks to integrate the MassStorage pack because it works with only one type of structure. On my CD, i don't have i386 and $OEM$ on the root of the CD. So i renamed PRO2 to i386 temporarily and moved $OEM$ to the root. The drivers extraction and the patch applied well it apparently. No error, always got it at 100%. My TXTsetup.sif in PRO2 was patched and the drivers were copied within this directory. Now, when i run the CD, it says there's an error at the line 2208. That matchs to cwbmidi.sys = 1,,,,,,,,3,3 which has nothing to do with the mass storage drivers i guess. I have no clue
  14. Here is my command line : I extracted the .msi file from the install. Hopes it helps.
  15. Hmm i have a little question about the way to install it. I've created a CD with a multiboot menu (XP regular / XP unattended) by following the method described there. So my directory is like this : BOOT1 = regular BOOT2 = unattended So ... 1/ I edited the TXTSETUP.SIF in \BOOT2 (and not the one in \Setup\XP\Professional\I386). 2/ I edited the WINNT.SIF in \BOOT2 (it can only be right since there's no else winnt.sif) 3/ The 3 files were copied to \Setup\XP\Professional\I386 (and not in \BOOT2). Tell me if i did it right. Thank you very much.
  16. Same problem. I can't get rid of the "Help protect" page with AutomaticUpdates=1 in my winnt.sif. Creating an oobeinfo.ini with SkipAutoUpdate didn't do anything either.
  17. My XP SP2 CD has prompted also during the peripheral driver installs. So DriverSigningPolicy=Ignore doesn't work here either. Like AutomaticUpdates=Yes by the way. I've always got the "Help Protect" page whatever If i apply the reg tweak, it'll be done at T-12, after the peripherals installation so how can it work ? Thank you.
  18. ****, i browsed loads of posts about WMP and LegacyDisable but this one. But anyway i never search in Windows XP section. Only in Unattended Windows
  19. Nevermind, i did the whole job manually. So here we are :
  20. I complain ! Same problem here. I've searched "LegacyDisable" in the forum and found some posts about it. But it seems that must be done for each extension type file ... not easy then.
  21. Have you rebooted after applying the tweak ?
