  1. I got the same problem today while installing XP+SP2 (fresh install) on a Sony Vaio laptop (sorry, i forgot the exact model but this was a Pentium M 900 MHz Centrino). I don't know about the BIOS version. Anybody can confirm that removing the \S\R folder solves the problem ? I have no way to test again, that laptop is now reinstalled. Thank you.
  2. I'd like to use the /qn switch from Ryan's file. How is it possible exactly ? Thank you.

  5. Hello all, When browsing Internet, i get sometimes the following error : Today, i've done a fresh install with the SP2 integrated and the problem still occurs ! Well, i've checked : no virus, no spyware ... I've already searched on Google and Usenet but haven't found any solution. Any help appreciated. Cheers
  6. Bashrat, i've installed a new PC today with this pack. The sound control panel didn't get installed (not appeared on startup, neither in the control panel). That's the Soundmax one.
  7. I don't understand the issue with iastor driver. Was it completely removed from the pack ? I don't see it anywhere. Can i add it manually without any risk ? EDIT : I took an old unattended CD with the mass storage pack integrated and tried to find back the entries for iastor.sys. Here is what i found in TXTsetup.sif : Also, i used makecab to create iastor.sy_ in \i386. Can anybody confirm me i've got everything alright ? Thanks.
  8. If the cmd file for control panel (which calls files from %SystemDrive%\drivers) is installed at cmdlines.txt stages, isn't it too late since in Pyron's method, the cleanup .... .. comes in. ?
