Hello all, I have two problems with it : - after making the SFX and installed WLM, i can not login. By the way, i have only installed the messenger MSI, not the others. Is there a missing MSI that is required to make it work ? - the options configured with WLM creator (like showing menu bar, disabling balloon tip etc.) only apply to the first Windows account. When WLM runs on another user session, everything option is by default. Thank you for your help.

Open msnmsgr.exe in any resource editor... Change version info 8.5.1302.1018 to 14.0.8064.206. The only value i found using a hexadecimal editor is : I changed 8.5.1302 by 14.0.8064, and also tried 14.0.806 to keep the same digit quantity. This doesn't work in both cases. By the way i noticed that the version given by Windows in explorer stays 8.5.1302.1018 after the modification. There may be another value to change somewhere, but where ? Thank you.

Hello all, Since i built a new unattended install with SP3 and IE7 slipstreamed, i get a confirmation message when i'm trying to copy a file from a network shared drive to the local disk. Translation : Do you want to move or copy these files from this zone ? I guess it has a link with [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones] But i can't find which key is concerned Thank you.

If you ever fall on another language SP3, please let us know I'll just get the english version for now to see what it looks like.

Hmm very odd. I have the inverse situation. My CD hasn't been changed but i just updated from Office 2003+SP2 to Office 2003+SP3. By the way i tried with my MST file and with a new one created. No change. Do you get troubles too when you try to configure an Outlook account with another Windows user profile ? It asks me to insert the CD. Once again, that never happened with Office 2003+SP2.

The odd thing is that it occurs with SP3 and not SP2. @ZileXa : Thanks for your feedback. Glag to know i'm not the only one. Let me know if there's any progress. For now, i stick with SP2

Well it's finally not due to Office shrinker. Those problems occur everytime i want to use Office with a new user account. Anyone knows how to configures Office through setup.exe with other Windows accounts ?

No success here. It says the shrink "is already complete" although the the OS is clean (without any install of Office before). And then when i run the shrinked version of Office, the install completes so it seems to work. However, when i launch Outlook and then i configure an account, it says some components are missing. There's another problem too : it configures Office for the current Windows profile only. So when i launch any Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook or Powerpoint) from another Windows account, the progress bar appears to install some components again. I tried by creating a new MST file with ORKA but that didn't change anything ... I never had any of these problems with SP2 before.

I'm interested too. It seems the standalone version won't be released by Microsoft ...

SP3 should be out on november-december according MS ... finally eh

Does anybody know if it's possible to integrate the new WMP hotfix into WMP install file ? I don't use "WMP integrator" software because it doesn't work here, so i use RunOnceEx to install it. For now, i use the following commands : But Windows Update doesn't see KB936782 installed at first boot. The yellow stuff in the systray appears (but disappears later, odd). Thank you.

Hello all, On some PC, sometimes i get a Windows pop up asking to install drivers. It can be a SCSI/RAID controller, an IDE secondary channel, a CD ROM or something linked to the chipset. It happened especially on ATI (yes that exists on Acer notebooks) and Nvidia motherboard chipsets. I guess they were not installed properly before. I use Bâshrat the Sneaky chipset packs so it should be fine normally. Anyway, i'd like to avoid those pop-up during RunOnceEx software installation. Is this possible ? Thank you.
