Hi, wmp9 creates automatically an icon in "...\accessories\entertainment\windows media player.lnk" without using the user default directory. And for every new session that are created, this icon is added. I searched throught the windows registry but I found nothing. Does someone have any idea? Kane

Hi, until now, i used the $oem$ folder to create my shortcuts in my custom windows. But when i have changed the default windows directory because a previous installation of windows is already on the disk, the directory "default user" is now "default user.XXX". So $Docs is unusable. i have maked research and i have read again the excellent msfn guide. I don't have find this information. I'm blind ? THX

Hi, I added some lines in TXTSETUP.SIF in the "i386" directory. These lines load the fasttrak drivers to escape at F6 key at startup. The sky was blue until i try to start my setup by windows setup program. This program copy some file in a directory on c: and restart computer for installation. BUT this stupid program don't copy my beautiful file frasttrak.sy_ in directory. In result, setup abort because one file is missing. i think my problem comes from the TXTSETUP.SIF, maybe here : [sourceDisksFiles] fasttrak.sys = 1,,,,,,3_,4,1 because these lines force windows setup program to find my file [sCSI.Load] Fasttrak = Fasttrak.sys,4 Somebody know how solve this problem ?

Hi everybody, why when i start installation from windows with 'clean installation" selected, when computer has restart, the text-mode setup fail. It say me : "Fastrak.sys file not found". I have manualy added this file in TXTSETUP.SIF. How can i do ?
