  1. I may have the beginning of the solution ! I found out the way to disable the warning messages to run executables files, it has to do with the Group policy : http://extremetechsupport.org/forum/showth...92&page=1&pp=10 Now, what we need is the keys in the registry to make the tweak reg. Does anybody know how to find out them since that modification in the group policy ?
  2. It doesn't work. Same for this tweak. The answay maybe inside documentation. From what i've found in it, i tried that reg which didn't work either :
  3. Hello all, I'm looking for a reg tweak to disable the following warning messages : - when running an executable file (.reg, .bat, .exe etc.) from an unknown publisher - when moving from a website to another in IE I've done a search on the forum before ... but didn't find anything Thank you.
  4. Thank you. I used your method Alanoll. However i merged my batch files in one not to get lot of window opening during the install (i couldn't use cmdow because it won't copy on the regular install). Here are my files : cmdlines.txt cmdlines.bat
  5. Hello all, Like i explained it in this thread i'm trying to make a dual boot with only one OS, XP+SP2, in two modes : regular install and unattended one. I've followed the method explained there. The second one seems to work for now (only tested in VMware though, not in real with RAID drivers and stuff). However the regular one makes troubles ... It doesn't copy the contents of $OEM$\$1 (apps and drivers) since i specified the following lines in the winnt.sif : [unattended] Unattendmode = DefaultHide OemPreinstall = NO Actually i thought i could force in this way not to consider the OEM but that didn't work (the absence of winnt.sif neither by the way). The contents of $OEM$\ (cmdlines.txt, cmdlines.reg and a few BATCH files) got executed though during the installation. But i do not want it for that regular installation ... How can i do ? Is there any way not to consider the OEM process at all with this dual boot method ? Thank you
  6. Alright, i think i just found out. I added this in my runonce.bat: echo Suppressions des favoris inutiles del /f /s /a C:\Docume~1\%username%\Favoris\*.url del /f /s /a C:\Docume~1\%username%\Favoris\Liens\P*.url del /f /s /a C:\Docume~1\%username%\Favoris\Liens\W*.url It should work ...
  7. Hello, I'm looking for a way to avoid the installation of the favourites installed by Windows (MSN, Radio stations) and in the 'Links' subfolder (Hotmail, Windows media etc.). I thought about making a BATCH but these files are created in the username profile directory so after the installation. Any ideas ? Thank you.
  8. I just tried to make this regular installation with the following winnt.sif : Let's say it's not really regular but semi-automatic. However, it doesn't integrate the applications, drivers and registry input which are in the automatic one. I noticed that at the end of the copy files during the first step of the installation, the OEM files from my subdirectories Apps, Drivers and Logs didn't get copied. But what were directly in $OEM$ which are my BATCH files and cmdlines.reg & cmdlines.txt were copied because this registry input got registered. Same for the BATCH that ran since it tried to install the apps. That's then i got the error message from this BATCH not find the files. All i want is to get rid of all that process that only concerns the automatic installation. Please help, it's been hours i've been looking for a solution
  9. I just tested mine that blocked too at the end of the drivers install. Was it the same for you ? My CD is a slipstreamed from a XP+SP1 CD and with Ryan's pack as well.
  10. Thank you I managed to create the multiboot. However i've got a little problem with the regular installation. It starts correctly, but at the end, my BATCH files (for installing applications and registering stuff in the registry) get executed although it shouldn't. They are inserted in my cmdlines.txt (situated in \$OEM$). Should i create a winnt.sif in \PRO1 (dedicated to the regular installation) that specifies OemPreinstall=No ? If so, would i need more command lines to insert to get this regular installation ? I have lot of examples for an unattended one but not for a regular one. Another question about the unattended installation (i couldn't test it yet) : do i have to change all my paths ? From winnt.sif : [unattended] OemFilesPath="..\$OEM$" OemPnPDriversPath="Drivers.... If yes, what to put for OemFilesPath ? Cheers. P.S : Please see my directory in attachment
  11. Thanks anyway. I'll finally integrate Ryan RAID drivers pack. It seems problems occured with SP2 though so i'm not sure it'll work properly. I'll give a try and let you know in Ryan's thread.
  12. Hello all, I wish to create a XP+SP2 CD with a boot menu that prompts for : 1- Regular install 2- Unattended install On the structure of my current CD (which is only unattended), i have unattend.txt on the root and winnt.sif and winnt32.sif in \i386. The contents of the 3 files is the same. it's also OEM since i integrated drivers and applications. Can anybody give me a link to a tutorial or explain me how to make that ? Thank you
  13. I've just repeated the same operation from a basic XP+SP1 CD (with no unattended) and it worked. The RAID drivers files could get copied. So the problem has something to do either with my unattended file or the slipstreaming / the SP2. Any ideas ? Thank you.
  14. Merci beaucoup, it works now However i've got a new problem (probably not the last one, i'm afraid ), the install can't copy the RAID drivers. The F6 install works fine, it does copy the files loaded from the floppy, then the install continues ... i create a new partition, format it in NTFS and so the problem occurs at the first files copy (which are the RAID drivers). I have to ignore and to skip then. However, after that, the usual normal files from the CD copy properly. It only concerns the RAID drivers. Strange because they could be loaded just before. By the way, it's a Promise Fasttrack 378 (onboard an Asus P4C800-E Deluxe). I haven't put these drivers on the CD and create the stuff to load them automaticaly because i'll use this CD on several different machines. So i must keep the destination install directory free since i'll install Windows on any kind of controller and hard drive. Any help appreciated. Thanks for your patience
  15. Hello all, I'm trying to make my first XP CD from a slipstreaming composed by a XP (SP1 integrated) CD + the SP2 file and to make it unattended. The slipstreaming seems to have worked ok since i had no error message. Then, i created an unattended.txt file which is on the root of the CD. Also, there're winnt.sif and winnt32.sif which are both indentical to the unattended.txt and set in \i386. My CD boots up, the install loads normally but shortly after it prompts to ask a floppy "named CD ROM Windows XP Professionnal" Here is my file : I can't go forward this. Any ideas ? Thank you very much.
