  1. Same problem here. I just fell on your post by doing a search on the forum ...
  2. Yes, same problem here. WMP losts its associations files if you remove all its context menu things like in the reg tweak you just mentionned there. Let me know if you find any solution. Cheers.
  3. That works now with the following command :
  4. Disable SP2 warning messages for executables : Thanks to Kishiro for the trick.
  5. I've been looking for HOURS a working reg tweak for that. Thanks a million !!
  6. Well, i just tried by using oobeinfo.ini with SkipAutoUpdate=1 (switch which also disable the "Help Protect" ) but that page still appears The only solution is to put UnattendSwitch = Yes but it skips the user profile creation step. And i need that ! I've looked in the CHM file and on the forum, i found no solution. Also, i'd like to skip the animation intro and the welcome page of oobe but nothing found neither. It drives me nuts. Any suggestions ?
  7. I'm looking for that too. Let me know if you find anything. Cheers.
  8. Hello all, My first unattended CD is almost finished now . However, there're still a few things to fix. For example, i can't remove the "Help protect" step at the end of Windows installation. In my winnt.sif, i first tried with : ... and then with both : Here is now my full winnt.sif : I can get rid of it if i add "UnattendSwitch = Yes" but then it suppresses the user profile creation step which is just after. And i need to keep it (i won't add automaticaly the accounts in a .ini file because i'll use my CD on different PC). I'm trying also to suppress the bubbles notifications of the security center. I've used the right reg tweaks to disable them : It does work but since the second logon only. If it's possible i'd like to shut it down completely since the first one. By the way, i'm using the RunOnceEx.cmd method. One last question and i leave you alone ... Is it possible to run a popup at the end of the cleanup.cmd which prompts to ask the reboot of the machine ? The shutdown tool does it, but automaticaly. Thanks a lot.
  9. I don't know really. Here is the content of my cdshell.ini, it might help you. You can find other examples on the forum ...
  10. Same problem : i want to get rid of the big letters. Strangely, if add the -d switch then my CD is not bootable anymore Here is the full command line : cdimage.exe -lWXPSP2FR -t08/23/2001,09:00:00 -b\AIO-DVD\BOOT\loader.bin -d -o -h -n -m \AIO-DVD E:\Gravure\CD\Data\WXPSP2FR\WXPSP2FR.iso Any suggestions ? Cheers.
  11. Still nothing found on my side I posted a message on microsoft.public.windowsxp.customize : <412e6202$0$19228$626a14ce@news.free.fr> Somebody may know over there, we never know ...
  12. Hello all, I'd like to apply my own settings for these both softwares. For Alcohol, i want to disable the option "Remount images upon system reboot". I looked in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Alcohol Soft\Alcohol 120%\Options\Virtual drive but it doesn't appear. Anybody know the key to add ? For F-prot, i want to change the default search profile. So i applied the modification and exported the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\FRISK Software International\FP-Win. When importing on a fresh install, the profile is still unchanged in F-Prot. Any ideas ? Thank you.
  13. WinDVD uses Installshield. I've used the following method with the setup.iss : http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/applications/installshield.htm It works fine. However i don't know how to register WinDVD. I searched the name and the serial i entered in the registry but nothing found ... Does anybody know how to proceed ?
  14. Thanks for your answer and this new release.
  15. I had this error too. And that was also the subject of my first post here http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=24845&hl=
  16. Great job ! B) This new structure method looks very interesting. Can't wait for the next RAID drivers pack now . Hmm i'm wondering if also i should wait for the new WLAN and the next Audio ones to finish up my unattended CD. Any ideas about the release date for each of both ? Is it a matter of weeks or days ? It's just to know ... Thank you
  17. It's not installed by default. You have to do it separately. I put the install in $OEM$\$1\Apps\dotnet and ran it from a BATCH through the following command line : start /wait %systemdrive%\Apps\dotnet\install.exe /q
  18. My mistake. It does register associate files for MPEG and another few formats but actually not for AVI which is still "owned" by WMP.
  19. Sweet ! I hate it too lol Do you think it'd work if i apply the tweak before installing Office ? I'm afraid the install overrides ...
  20. Exact same problem here. After some search, i fell on this thread. By the way, Kelly's tweak doesn't work here. I guess many of you runs the search in classical mode. Any ideas ? Thank you.
  21. Does anybody know how to make Media player classic from K-lite codec pack associating media files types ? After the installation, they were still associated to WMP 9 ... Thanks.
  22. Thank you. I used this tool which logged me loads and loads of registry entries ... although i enabled the filter to log the writing ones only. From this, i created a .reg which didn't work. That's a real puzzle, i mean. Haver you ever managed to find out the tweak needed ? Well, i give up on this method. This stuff is driving me crazy .... It's quite strange that nobody published a reg tweak to disable that stuff. I've spent HOURS on Google with no success. Does anybody here who makes an XP+SP2 CD leaves this harrassent warning message up ? Please helppppppppppp.
  23. Yes, in your winnt.sif. For adding favorites, add a [FavoritesEx] section. For example : For adding favorites in the Links subdirectory, add a section. For example :
