the only trouble i have with that is IE7, They really need to integrate firefox ! Wouldnt that be great! never have the hassle of **** internet explorer! I believe your hypothesis is going to be right. And if it is right that would be sweeet! With all sp2 hotfixes that would save me alot of trouble and work I would be very happy with that. - The new messenger, i never use windows messenger anyways. I dont ever like it. And it just causes so many problem and gets in the way. Even with it i will still use AIM and MSN. And most likely the sp3 will have all updated secruity. everything will be running smooth error free!

yes i wold try updating everything you possibly cant. Or there could be a program the video card doesnt like or doesnt support and it will shut off! Thats what happen to my old one! If not it might be a bad video card all together!

yes defragments help. There are also alot of registry tweaks that do this also! I will post a few on them later on today!

Have you migrated yet? if you haver you can upgrade from XP Home to XP Pro. But you can delete the windows xp home partition and do a full install of XP Pro.

I have a linksys router and i tried upgrading the firmware which didnt work. So i just rebooted my router and EUREKA! So glad it all worked out for you and you are connected!
