My dad has a computer he got from work, and he got it from one of his employees, and he cant get the log in password. Would it be easier to reload Windows Xp Professional or to just reformat?

My middle school uses this program called ClassRoomXP that takes attendence and does the grades for each student. Yeah, you can just read books and practice off your computer and do what un4given1 said so you have internet. But alot of the books that i got helped a whooole lot and i just impress my computer lab teachers. I probably no more than they do since im only 14 i still read alot of books and get so much information its crazy.
