I got this to work but its 1 sided. I can connect to my moms computer and go through her shared folders without asking for a password. But everytime she trys to connect to my computers shared folders, it asked for a password, and i dont know the administrators password. Ive tried all the passwords i can think of. And when i go into control panel>>User accounts>> the computer administrator doesnt have a password. ???

Lol rather be safe then sorry, and people try to actually hack my computer, but Mcafee catches it, set up a rule in NetBIOS or zonealarm, but i tried looking the settings of zonealarm and theres no place where you can add the IP address to be unlocked

Im setting up my home network, and everything is working.... kinda, When i go into my network places, i see my moms computer, but i can access it because my moms firewall(zonealarm) is automatically blocking it. and when i try to access her computer the zone alarm message pops up saying... how can i fix this?

Well, right now im just reading books on the registry and XP Pro. Just leaning towards the MCSE slowly. But back to the normal post. The Malware thread is a real good idea. I would really participate in that and help out as much as i can. Because i know alot of people have that virus and spyware problem.

Agreed. i am not and expert and i am also in the learning process of being an IT Pro. I just dont have any to teach me about those things so im reading books as much as possible. And i am also learning very little about doing those types of things But i hope this thread would be created but it would be a great add-on to the MSFN network. It would help so many of those unprotected PC's. Hope this wish comes true!

yeah i would do what gotdilbert suggested. And about the whole Thread title. Its ok, just dont let it happen again, BUt anyways, I would try re-installing XP and just do hotfixes.

i believe there isnt a way im sorry. I think the closest you could get is there IP and what browser there using to look at your website. Oh and to show what OS they have

@Widnez_boy, me i usually get on in the morning US time. But MSNwar is also UK and almost everytime im in hes in to. And from West US, the time difference is anywhere from 8-11 hours, so im usualy on about now, and its about 6-10pm depending on where you are located.

Yes, its just a conference room. its fun! just download it, and open it and chat with both Mic, Webcam and text. Even if you dont have sound you can still text-chat. Its one of the great programs i use! open 24/7! usually always someone on!

yeah i was amazed i even saw free OS's. Lol. But i havent really tried hte Fedora, i was thinking about putting it on my extra computer as well
