Check the accounts properties... Is (Leave copy on the server) checked...?

dont know i installe dthe codec on mine and it solved the problem. You say this has worked on preveouse versions of XP..?

that could be your problem..... if you look on my sig at my site you will find the dvd.zip and the last page. Try that.

A few questions 1. What type of DVD Player 2. What graphics Card 3. Have you installed the DVD upgrade for media player

yep the liveware wont work, but i dont see why the built in XP drivers dont work with your speakers. Have u tried going to sound & Audio devices option in control panel and go down to speaker settings, click advanced and change to surround sound. I used to have same setup and it worked usng the xp driver.
