FthrJACK, You have seen my setup, its very relyable and cheap... All depends on how many ports you want i suppose, if you just get the Linksys cable/DSL router you will have four ports and an uplink to another hub or switch... The router has a firewall built in which works together with zone alarm, and you can set it to DHCP or configure seperate IP's I also use mine to connect to my compay VPN which gets me a secure conection right into my company network which is why i work from home...why go into the office when you can do everything from the comfort of your armchair unless its to get a free copy of XP..... thats the thing with ghost set it off and 5 mins later complete s/ware rebuild no messing. Putting all your apps on spending hours configuring the OS is a thing of the past. Regards, BAH

Hey mate ive got a HP 3300c scanner plugged into USB never been a problem in XP, detects it everytime. There is an windows update for the scanner, try it... My cdrom and writer have suddenly changed drive letters, my reader is a master and my writer is a slave on the secondary controler and suddenly if i look in explorer or my computer the letters have swapped around. If i look in device manager the are correct master and slave. If i look in admin tools they are correct reader is (F) writer is (G) but in explorer or my compter they the opposite way round. what you want know is an LCD monitor so you can utelise the DVI connector, i bought a IIYAMA AS4431D 17.4" TFT. It runs at 1280x1024 of the AIW Radeon DVI port. Quality is superb Regards, BAH

if its ghost 2002 you need to create the boot disk and do it that way, if ghost 6.0 or earlyer yo can run it from within the OS... I can send you a copy of the boot disk if you want as you do not need the whole app on to use it.... BAH

Ghost is the one you want it makes it so easy.. you an do a disk to disk image, or create an disk or partition image direc to a cd or network drive. it dont get any easyer than that. BAH
