Yes it passes the diags and recognises the modem, im using the win2k driver that came with it, but when it attempts to dial it doesn't pick up the line and just sits there pretending to dial. If i plug it into my laptop Win98 it works everytime. Regards, BAH

i gave cleartype a try but it still like the standard fonts,Im running 1280x1024 on my LCD though a DVI connection so its pretty clear anyway. Regards, BAH

Yep the pc is home built, the modem is just a backup but the think dont like xp at all it recognised it but it wont dial out.... Ill be adding some more pics of the car this week, keep checking. I also got my mate to record a wav at the weekend of the engine its on the site now. Regards, BAH

If you are trying to share the cable modem you will need a cable router or 2 nic cards in one of the machines using sygate or something like that, even the standard ICS s/ware in xp will work... If your just wanting a network you dont need netbeui, just set them up with an ip each make sure your using a cable with a twist in or a port on your hub that has a twist... Can you ping both machines and get a reply...? Regards, BAH

if you just want to change the language go to.... Contol panel, Regional and language options, Languages, details and add a new kbd language. hope this helps.... Regards, BAH
