  1. Remember that we are just some months away from the X48, and you know that... Why would you take a X38 then? Just to have AMD´s Crossfire support and PCI-E 2.0 in those 2 slots? Also remember that the 4x and 1x are connected to the Southbridge so those will still be PCI-E 1.0/1.1...
  2. Howly cow, this one does all, even HD-DVD and BlueRay.
  3. I think I must be blind, that LGE is 20" . http://it.lge.com/products/model/detail/lcd_l204wssf.jhtml# I would personally go for a 20" screen, and it’s almost the same as the Philips, read LG(E)/Philips, I posted before but for a lower price. Remember that neither the LGE 20" or Samsung 19" screens have DVI, if you want DVI in Europe you pay extra taxes, this explains why the 200AW8FS/00 from Philips is more expensive, besides the small laptop like speakers in the back... Excuse me for not taking my time to look at your post with those 3 screens...
  4. Ah, okay, that’s clear. They must have been using really bad capacitors, never saw power supplies die like that for the past 4 to 5 years. Are you sure that the back fan is working well? Most of the time capacitors go 6 feet under when they overhead, you see this also on motherboards.
  5. .... Thank you .
  6. Some drives come with there own software, didn´t this model have any?
  7. So, what you need then is *: Not really underpowered * Taken from LiteON.
  8. Welcome to Mexico,
  9. ALRIGHT, let´s drink some tequila and have some beans and tacos . After we are drunk let´s slap the crap out of some piñatas and have some long dance with some Mexican babes. OLÉ, VIVA! Who want´s to join?¿ Then we all sing: Dale, dale, dale, No pierdas el tino Porque si lo pierdes pierdes el camino. Dale, dale, dale Dale y no le dio Quítenle la prenda ¡Porque sigo yo!! ¡Se Acabó! ¡Sigo yo! Thanks, guys .
  10. Underpowered for a HTPC? Hum, any way... Pentium E2180 @ 65W.
  11. Hard to find now, and if you find them they have the same price as the 17" models .
  12. Nope, just 90nm, but it seems they are hard to get, and also called X2 3800+ EE SFF. So, it would be better if you look for a AMD Athlon™ X2 Dual-Core, Model BE-2350, ADH2350IAA5DD/ADH2350DDBOX, just 45watts and WAY cheaper then a mobile CPU.
  13. Ow, I forgot to say: http://www.msfn.org/board/Nero_7_Lite_7101...se_t102840.html
  14. I would go for a AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual-Core, Model 3800+, ADD3800IAA5CU/ADD3800CUBOX; 35 Watt. That in combination with a AMD 694x chipset...
  15. Most people will complain a lot more when they use 2 times 500 or 750GB drives in RAID 0. In that case it’s always better to stick with the same chipset maker or if you want to be really safe then go for a PCI-E raid controller. I was expecting some complains by the way .
  16. 51 Years, wow... I just became 33 . What did you use before or are still using for a screen? Also good to know for us; for what are you using it besides moding your OS?
  17. Never use it on the PCB, why would you any way?
  18. Yup, but board layout will be the same, so we already know how they are going to look like . I would not buy a “half-finished” chipset now; that’s for the people that want a new motherboard and can’t wait... --- EDIT --- I forgot to post: Gigabyte´s GA-X38-DQ6 .
  19. Well, it was more like a warning not to wait until some one replies ...
  20. Depends on what you need to burn, if it’s HD-DVD / BlueRay then I would upgrade. Nothing else changed really, just some add-on stuff almost no real computer freak uses...
  21. You need to backup all data before you install your new PC.
  22. They will swap your 500W for a 550W version with 2 12v rails vs 3 12v rails?
  23. Naa, next chipset is neat, skip this one .
  24. Hello, welcome to the MSFN forums. I’m sure no one will answer your question like this. You have to check it your self, borrow a HDD, a 160GB or so, from some one just to see if the PC "sees" the HDD right...
  25. Why get a 19" when a 17" has the same resolution? Are your eyes getting bad (I sell 19" to people that have less good sight, mostly people above 50 years...).
