Yes, all Intel chipsets "normally" support only Crossfire.By the way, do your self a favor and buy the GA-P35-DS3L and save a lot, great OC board for less then 100USD . The only thing you get with the X38 is Crossfire, PCI-E 2.0, extra PCI-E lanes, a bit better ICH (10) and a FSB of 1600 (but even a good P35 can do 2000MHz IF your RAM can pull it), also the X38 will empty your pocket better with 250USD and up...

Well, its Windows related as most laptop BIOSes don’t have so much settings in general. Just do the following: Run REGEDIT and go to HKEY_USERS\.Default\Control Panel\Keyboard -> InitialKeyboardIndicators, it’s set to 1, set it to 0. Use any of the following values, depending on the combination of keys you want turned on or off: 0 - Turns off Num Lock, Caps Lock, and Scroll Lock 1 - Turns on Caps Lock 2 - Turns on Num Lock 3 - Turns on Caps Lock and Num Lock 4 - Turns on Scroll Lock 5 - Turns on Caps Lock and Scroll Lock 6 - Turns on Num Lock and Scroll Lock 7 - Turns on Caps Lock, Num Lock, and Scroll Lock Exit the Registry. Restart and the new setting will take effect.

That´s a plug´n´play screen, you don´t need to install a driver for it other then the one that comes with Windows...

No need for that, just pick value RAM from a known "brand" or with good PCB and ICs. I can tell you that I’m really happy with my too much OCed cheap *ss RAM, and if it’s smokes it smokes, not going to cry about it, just replace it again (still 4 times cheaper then the ones you have) .

Indeed. I would like to add that the LCD doesn’t "act funny" but it’s just slowing down. Technical specifications say that the working temperature should be -30C~+70C, so you will "act funny" before your LCD does . Just think about it this way, the cristals changes slower when colder, also expand a little bit as liquids expand when “freezing”...

I would like to add, that the Q6600 would not be the best choice, that would be the Q9300/2.66GHz/6MB/1,333MHz. Although its multiplier and cash are lower then the Q6600, it can be overclocked easy and better then the Q6600. The 6% overall performance gain of the new core and the higher clock makes it up with the multiplier and the extra cache from the Q6600. The price isn’t that much higher, we are talking about a price difference of 30-40 USD. What I see so far, as I could not test it my self yet, the Q9300 OCes close to 4GHz IF your motherboard can handle 500MHz FSB, but that should not be a problem with a top of the line DFI, MSI (yes they are coming back), Gigabyte or ASUS .

Looks like an overheating problem to me; can you check your temperatures in the BIOS and post them? Are you sure the CPU cooler is attached well and you removed any plastic foil from the downside of the cooler? Other problems could be: - Bad RAM - Bad power Supply Unit (PSU) - Bad Motherboard Welcome to THE forums by the way .
