  1. MS-5187, from MSI, http://www.msi.com.tw/program/products/mai...ail.php?UID=104 EDIT: d*mn 1 second to late, crahak beat me on it EDIT2: Up to 32GB... If you can set the BIOS to boot from SCSI your indeed better of buying an PCI SATA controller...
  2. Borrow 50 bucks, go on the street to beg for a dolar to everyone you see... do your self a favor en get that 7900GS please... (I would do it )
  3. LOL
  4. EEuhmm, comparing a 7900GS to a x1650pro? What the... the x1650pro performs even weaker then the 7600GT . Any way, I would borrow 50 buck from some one to get something you can use for 2 years or so (7900), not a card that will be outdated in les then 1 year (7600)... up to you BombaTwist .
  5. There are 8 chips of 128MB each, normaly that would be 16... rendrag got the point there .
  6. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814143070 Check that BFG Tech BFGR79256GSOCE GeForce 7900GS 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card out too . EDIT: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814102021 If you like ATI then this SAPPHIRE 100155L Radeon X1800GTO 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 VIVO PCI Express x16 VIVO Video Card could be something. I know I´m talking about 143-159 US$ cards, but they will make up the price with there 256bit RAM and more shaders and comes close to the price of the 7600GT.
  7. Your mobo will support 16 chip DIMMs, so if they are 32 chip DIMMs then forget it. So they are talking about the chipsizes .
  8. SATA 1 or 2, same cable . Nice link indeed and I´m happy that they think the same as me:
  9. Connect3D ATI RADEON X1300 Pro for under the 100 US$ would be my choice, check out tomshardware.com and look at there VGA charts. For the motherboard; ASRock isn’t expensive and it’s a daughter company of ASUS so they know how to build one .
  10. The 7300GT isn’t crap at all, if armed with GDDR3 it will outrun a 7600GS (but there are just a few with GDDR3). Cool thing about both cards is that the can be passively cooled and are sold original that way too. My choice would be the 7600GS... fan less if you can . EDIT: And I saw that the 7900GS dropped in price too, almost the same price as the 7600GT, keep it in mind .
  11. Your talking about the O-rings and packings?
  12. When I build a water-cool-system I test it outside the case for a few days, to make sure it works 100%. Never had a problem with leaks or so (just use good hose-clips), only thing I’m always worried about is that the pump stops working...
  13. Ethanmcf has the DFI Lanparty NF4 ultra (S939), and he wants to chance his chipset cooler as well. I tried to help him out on MSN but to water-cool all will be around 400 US$ and it’s not something a beginner will do in one day . His case has just an 8cm fan in the back, no space for more, and he uses a lot of lights in his case. So his problem is that his SLI system is getting too hot. I advised him a Ccoolermaster Stacker case but he says it’s ugly…
  14. Ow, I thought they used 115V too in the UK
  15. Make your own kit: - Radiator with 2 or 3 12cm fans - Pump - Hoses and clips - Liquid, not just plain water - Resevoir - And the cooling blocks; CPU, GPU and chipset for example The pump is for me always the most important part; it must be the most reliable part of your system. Some external radiators have build in pumps; look at the Zalman for example. I see also that the site you gave me doesn’t offer so much, well, they have pictures but nothing in stock . You are going to pay fleet-cost any way so why don’t you get it outside the UK? Just make sure the pump is 115volts and there you go . And remember that you have to drill and kut in your case most of the time!
  16. I like to buy at PC-Cooling.de, Link for Water-cooling parts. They have good products, description (also in English ) and nice pics.
  17. Before we are going to post more : Any idea where you are going to buy it? Online shop? Any link? (yeah I know, what a questions ...
  18. If you want to cool all, then a kit will not do, not even 2 kits. So, you will have to go with separated parts witch makes it also more fun . Then there are more questions: - You like an internal or an external radiator? Fan less perhaps? - What brand of case do you have or are you going to buy? - Are you using a side window or so?
  19. Could help if you would tell us how much you like to spend? There are kits from 70 US$ or so and up .
  20. False starts, seen it a lot before . Renew the thermoplastic and see if that helps. Did this happen before too? Your machine is getting older, how old is it now; 3, 4 years?
  21. AGP? What card are you going to trow in? If it´s a FX 5200 or so you would be better of by buying a motherboard with a 6100/6150 chipset (NOT the 6100/405)...
  22. But prices are almost the same and most of the time you can use the 800 with lower timings then the 667. 64 or 128 bit RAM usage makes up to 3 whole % , not that much but it’s something. I´m sure that you will buy the other stick soon .
  23. I saw them for the persons who are in the back of the car, never for the driver. Are you going to drive AND post on MSFN? EDIT: I think I saw one that you could hang on your steering wheel...
  24. http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/Motherb...-8PE800%20Ultra you lazy...
  25. As far as I know, it´s used for the PCI-E bus.
