This is funny... Are you meaning that the airflow could, in all or at least some circumstances, pass through the drive ? If the fan is stong enough it will , did you smoke some and got it from Holland? No for real, air dos not come from the center of the fan, it comes from the radius of the blades, so if you use a fan it would be better to NOT put it in the middle of the fan. The CoolDrive Andromeda43 uses are nice but a bit noisy. Also putting the drive directly on the place with the most airflow will make a few dBA more. EDIT: Why don´t we try it out .

Those things you say are normal on most motherboards. Only with a few motherboards the LED light on the mouse stays on. There is nothing to worry about, use the main power switch on your power supply ore just simply unplug the power cord.

350 bucks... I can build a whole d*mn system from it ... ... ... ... ... Any way, those "new" power supplies with 5! 12V lanes are cool but so expensive, there are pure quality though. The 1000W version is just a show-off, the 850 would do the same and more then enough for EVERY system, even for 4 4-cored CPUs, 4 cards in SLI, 5 HDDs and some DVD burners . OCing will not make the system THAT much hungry, make it an other 10% or so. If the 620Watt Enermax didn’t had bad reviews I would say go for that one, but I’m wondering why people have problems with it; Almost sure they didn’t split the lines well on the devices! Any way, it’s your choice . (Going to check what that "Fortron FSP Booster X3 300W Power Supply Booster" is, never saw it before...) EDIT: I needed 10 seconds for that to see that THAT thing doesn´t give you any performance but it will make you wallet lighter so YOU can run faster ...

Put it one step lower or higher, so you will have more airflow there. Remember the rotor? You will only get airflow from the blades .

Never saw them, but I´m sure some one will come up with it . Those VGA cards come with a DVI to VGA adaptor, some even with 2, so you don’t need to buy any thing.

I don´t think you bought cheap RAM, all DDR2 RAM is pritty good quality to say. Ow, 666+1 is 667 by the way, I was just joking about that +1 . I use always 667MHz RAM for a 533MHz systems, and 800MHz RAM for 667MHz systems. never I have to use high voltages like 2.1, 1.8 is the max I use.

Yup, but the STX and up are 640*480 hardware and 30FPS . When I show people the difference between a 15-25 US$ one and a STX, the STX is sold! It has a real camera CCD.

Did you try to set the timings or the RAM manual? Or tried if it worked on 666+1MHz? Rise the volts?

I would leave both out: - Asus 90 - C1CHFA-HUAY1 PhysX card; Not enough games for it now. - Soundblaster X-FI Platinum; only when you are really picky on sound or you want to use it with a mixer.

It would help if you tell us EXACTLY what you going to do with the hardware, except for writing something in notepad and putting the monitor on a table . Also tell us if you want a screen with it, or any other hardware around the PC.

Well, syntax01010 is complaining about the 4000pro, the STX is almost the same. No USB 2.0 nut it can get 640*480@30fps on USB 1.1 except in low-light mode. But it’s the first cam that I see for fewer than 50 bucks that has a nice picture. Wana see the cam work? PM me and I’ll show you by MSN messenger that it isn’t that bad.

Looks more like a virus to me, some viruses love to come in trough windows update service.
