Yeah Tris...time=money. If you are spending more time on here cause it takes all day to get done what you can surf in five minutes...then it takes up your time. But of course, I have found that I spend a lot more time on there cause there's a lot more to do when you have cable. As for the guy, if AOL automatically redirects you to a long distance number then it's not right. I would think that you have to make some choice in this matter though. Interesting...though not interesting enough for me to research this...lol Rick

With makers just now cranking out the 2.0 standard, I doubt we will see too much in the way of 3.0 for a while. BTW---has everybody noticed that firewire just sort of bombed out? There was a Maxtor 60GB HDD at Staples a couple of weeks ago on clearance for $30...firewire, 7200 RPM...low seek time. Go figure. Rick

That seller is not a good example...he has only 3 sells and they are all positive but I could not find the feedback. Chris, Window Washer 4.7 has always done the complete job for me. Just one click and it cleans out everything...you can also set it to clean each time you start up or shut down. IM or PM me for more info on getting this. Rick

I tried this out and it appears that Window Washer does the job for you. I did not see any websites on the found list that appear before my last WW cleanup. Rick

So Longhorn and Tris...have your figured out the bugs in downloading in M$ explorer? It sounds like this version is just too buggy to worry about getting it at this point. Oh...and what about WAP? Rick

I say you get an amp and a couple of twelve's in an isobaric box and have it thumping right at your box...you had better get a very absorbant box though so you don't crash the hard drives on the really low bass. I was in class today and a girl had an ibook with WinXP loaded as a virtual desktop. Not that I even care about Macs but I'm just curious about how that works. She said problem is that it makes her laptop slow as s***. In her words. Rick

I have been using Trillian and Messenger works fine and it appears to be working for Fthrjack, xper, and tim since they have been on most of the day. Rick

I tried it and like Xper says...still crap. At least it even works this time but it still needs to be fixed so that it is not always on top. It causes your desktop to only work to the left of the default dashboard size even if you try to make the dashboard smaller. It is also quite slow on my computer. Rick
