Hey guys, I've been looking for a battery for my old iPod for a while now. However, I can't seem to find any in the Montreal area. Those that I've found online are about $30 US and usually charge $10 US to $30 US for shipping! Any ideas as to where I can find one online in Canada or locally in Montreal? Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried using it in another computer? If it's not the drive causing the problem, or the enclosure, then it's either a driver malfunction or a faulty USB card.

ALO, where did you get your Windows CD? Sounds like you have something called an All-In-One Windows XP CD with different versions of it on it.

Yes well, but when I look at that picture I'm not seeing some Cisco device with individually configured ethernet ports, i'm seeing a simple home network using a switching configuration and of course two different subnets. What I'm trying to say is of all the ADSL routers I've seen (ADSL being is the most common here), they simply include a built in switch, no multiple networks If he has two different subnets on the network, it's because he has two DHCP servers. The first one, being where his modem is connected, and the second one being either some kind of D-Link or Linksys wireless router.

Sorry to say this, but that won't exactly work. If I connected one router and put it on the subnet 192.168.2.* and then connected it to another router using the second router's WAN port and also put it on the 192.168.2.* subnet, computers on both routers would not be able to communicate to each other because they are each on their own LAN. Changing subnets really doesn't do anything in this case. He would have to use a crossover cable to connect his wired router to his wireless one NOT using the WAN port on the wireless router. He would also have to disable the DHCP server on the wireless router.

Having a strong signal doesn't necessarily mean that you'll have the fastest speed. There might be interference while transferring data and such. Also, encryption doesn't really slow down your transfer speed unless you have a slow computer which is unable to encrypt/decrypt fast enough.

Haha, sweet. I would still try narrowing down the exact port that way you don't have any problems with any other applications since you're blocking an entire range. Like I said before, try using "netstat -an". Post 5800.

Very confused as to what you're asking. Are you saying some web pages load but others don't?

1. Uninstall it. 2. Delete the installer. 3. Block the download site using the HOSTS file or a domain blocking tool/filter. 4. Make her account limited. 5. Block the ports listed on this page: http://www.opentechsupport.net/forums/arch...ic/32407-1.html Those might not be all the ports. I did an additional search and it came up with ports such as 8484, 8485, 8585, etc... but I'm not 100% sure... You could always run "netstat -an" (without the quotes) to find what port it is running under.
