  1. Add an option to run via RunOnceEx instead of HFGUIRUNONCE. See end of Post 1 for addition info.
  2. It is about Pin start menu. Over here.
  3. I use VirtualBox 1.6.6 with HFSlip to test in virtual env. No issue so far.
  4. Tried. No success. MS Paint is not on the list. I have only calc, character map, desktop wallpaper, and document templates. MS Paint is not on the list could be due to your C:\WINDOWS\system32\sysoc.inf has no entry to MS Paint because your XP is nlited (with MS Paint removed when u slipstreamed it) How about going to your original source (search for sysoc.in_, then expand the file to compare the entries again your copy in C:\WINDOWS\system32\sysoc.inf) Maybe u can manually add the entries. Then try running Adding Optional Components to Add/Remove Programs. (or in run box, type : sysocmgr.exe /y /i:C:\WINDOWS\system32\sysoc.inf). When prompt for CD, insert your original XP source, not nlited source. That's all I can think of. I'm running out of ideas w/o reinstalling or re-do another nlited disc. Sorry.
  5. Pls see if item 53 helps
  6. How about try this? (Uninstall and reinstall MS Paint in Windows XP)

  8. Just to confirm (check around) what is the expected filesize shown at Add/Remove panel for .Net 3.5 SP1? I got mine at 27.80MB installed only. I'm wondering if I'm missing out something since your size is 58.94MB installed. (My .net slipstream is as follow (XP Pro English): 1.1 - using Roger Spear Pack 2.0 SP2 using .NET Maker synthesize cmd script (I build a standalone pack and install at T13) 3.0 SP3 & 3.5 SP1 , using .NET Maker synthesize cmd script , merged at RunOnceEx/GUIRunonce Plus your latest KB951847 registry patch (thanks for this), in exe format applied after 3.0 SP3 & 3.5 SP1 has completed installation.) The 1st 2 programs installed filesize are same as yours, only .NET 3.5 SP1 is different. ==Edit: add screenshot== See below what I mean. Does anyone getting around 28MB for this item? The thing is that MS Update does not says I'm missing something. .
  9. Will IconSize help?

Also see whether this article(see post #11) helps as it seems similiar case as your.
  11. RathcoM Read about this article. Seems like something to do with soundcard driver. For reference only: How to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control Alternative Flash Player download
  12. I have a small workaround using autoit script. (tested in XP Pro only, will also probably work in Vista) Run the script before any move/delete operation. Script will answer "Yes" for read-only file(s) when deleting or moving file(s). Script will run continuously until you end it manually (thru system tray icon or Ctrl+Alt+x hotkey combination) No harm give it a try. Mediafire (limited hosting period, I shall keep for 15 days) ReadOnlyNoConfirm.exe Size: 247.09 Kb (253,017 bytes) MD5: CB91E419C958B9C0F2295575752E9482
  13. Could it be your c:\mylog.log and C:\RHDSetup.log were in wrong location? As far as I understand, mylog.log or RHDSetup.log should normally be in same directory as your setup.exe. Just my guess.
  14. Try apply the above registry tweak during GUIRUNONCE. (May have to refresh your explorer.exe if need to) (To refresh explorer, in Runbox, just type the following: tskill explorer ) I'm able to get it display w/o webview under normal XP by doing this.
  15. Open Selected URL put 3 context menus in IE when u right-click on blank area of web page. uses .html with encoded java script to do the job. So don't think it will conflict any hotkeys u might have.
  16. There are 3rd party tools that can do the job, such as Automatic Wallpaper Changer
  17. Try item 55 or 133
  18. A1. To know which switch to use for different application, try universal silent switch finder (USSF) or CMenu USSF is bundled in Kels_UberPack addon Cmenu addon If u can't find any proper switch, use Autoit to install. U can also ask in Application Install forum for assistance. A2. Not sure (I'm on HFslip which don' use this term). This question is best answer by nlite user. As far as I know, to install application other than C:\(assume this drive is the default), u need to use autoit. There may be some advance installer that can handle custom path but I'm not sure which are the one. Maybe if u repackage it thru some kind of 3rd party installer, it is possible. A3. I never use HIVESYS.inf to tweak, so can't say much. As far as I know, HKLM & HKCU tweak can usually apply at T13 Rarely do you need to apply during GUIrunonce/ runonceex. Of course there are exception. But only if it failes at T13, then try at GUIRunonce Hope this somehow answer your queries
  19. lordsepid Why not post your unattended.txt for review? (w/o any product key whatsoever) With enough input, you might get proper reply.
  20. Universal Viewer v5.5.6.2 Homepage Universal Viewer is an advanced file viewer with wide range of formats supported. Implemented view modes and corresponding file formats are: * Text, Binary, Hex, Unicode: any files, of unlimited size (even 4Gb+ sizes are allowed) * RTF, UTF-8: RTF and UTF-8 encoded texts * Image: all general graphics formats: BMP JPG GIF PNG TGA TIFF... plus all formats supported by IrfanView/XnView external viewers * Multimedia: all formats supported by MS Windows Media Player: AVI MPG WMV MP3... * Internet: all formats supported by MS Internet Explorer: HTML XML DOC XLS... * Plugins: all formats supported by Total Commander Lister plugins Application is fully Unicode-compatible and can be integrated into Windows Explorer's context menu, so there is no problem to call it from anywhere in Explorer: right-click a file and select the "Universal Viewer" item. It can also be integrated into other popular file managers. Generally, Universal Viewer is an application similar to Total Commander Lister. But, comparing to Lister, it has some major advantages: * Full support for Unicode filenames * Built-in functions of several popular plugins: images, multimedia, webpages view * Support for multiple codepages: ANSI, OEM, EBCDIC, ISO, KOI8, Mac etc. * Toolbar, status bar, other interface improvements * Auto-reloading of file on changing, "Follow tail" option * Displaying of line numbers * Displaying of non-printable characters * Combined Unicode/Hex mode (call Unicode mode twice) * More modern RegEx search library * Print preview * EXIF viewer In the Lister plugins section you will find the list of rather good Lister plugins to use in conjunction with UV. These plugins are developed by 3rd parties and are not included into UV installation. Well, I have included the following plugins from the plugin page: ==> Office, Excellence, ListDoc, PDFView, Imagine, ICLview, FlashView, Font, XBaseView, FileInfo, PE Viewer, TxquickView, NFO View, Office2007, OpenOffice UniversalViewer5562_ENU_Inf_addon.cab Size: 8.01 Mb (8,395,420 bytes) MD5: 23A154CFA912F100A72D715427D8A3DF Screenshot1: Access thru context menu Screenshot2: When opening Excel or Words file, select "Open" Screenshot3: Open MS Words files Screenshot 4: If you encounter random display in opening Excel file, click Internet/Office button for proper display
  21. Hi, jfcarbel A1. I'm using HFSlip, so I know it works A2. RegFromApp tool is only good with new application. A better alternative (IMHO) for monitoring new application is InstallRite/InstallWatch Regshot Unicode can also monitor the tweaks that you do to your system (as no application is installed) A3. The closest I know is RegDllView
  22. darkpepe Try this: ;!@Install@!UTF-8! AutoInstall="ai" OverwriteMode="0" InstallPath="%PROGRAMFILES%\\Teamviewer" GUIMode="2" Shortcut="D,{%%T\\TeamViewer.exe},{},{TeamViewer},{Get help from IT Spain BB},{%PROGRAMFILES%\\Teamviewer}" ;!@InstallEnd@!
  23. I dun know how to do that via shell32.dll but I do know 3rd party tool, Total Copy 1.2 can do it.
  24. Thanks jaclaz for the extra info. Indeed it is. I think can reduce to 1 single command: (instead of 2 command lines) copy autoplay\docs\myfiles\*.doc C:\
