I have just tried a live install using Onepiece IE8 true addon ENUand it works in HFSlip. Perhaps HFslip user who are looking into intergrating IE8 can give a try. (Remove IE7 installer from HF folder & put Onepiece addon in HFAAO. I have keep all IE7 hotfixes as before in HF folder) HFANSWER.INI for IE portion are all left blank.

I see you are using HFSLIP. Window search , perhaps take a look here or run your in HFGUIRUNONCE folder Silverlight goes to HFSVCPACK I suggest you put CalcPlus.msi w/o any switch in HFSVCPACK_SW1 folder. (I tested, works okay on my side) Window Defenders (or try putting in HFGUIRUNONCE) Hope that helps. (Perhaps you are mixing ESN & ENU files together)

Sure hate to see you going but when a hobby is no longer a hobby, enthusiasm dies. More like a job w/o salary. That is understood perfectly. (although it is sad to see you go) Thanks to you, your support and your tool that I learnt a lot from this slipstreaming process, such as autoit & program silent installer creation. Last last, XPero stop supporting XPize. But I believe someone or a group there keep it going. Any intention similiar to that in HFSlip if you move on?

You could give this switch a try IE8-WindowsXP-x86-ENU.exe /quiet /update-no /norestart or for more switches, open cmd box and type: IE8-WindowsXP-x86-ENU.exe /help

I'm using HFSLIP and have .net 1.1 & 2 run at T13 via HFSVCPACK .3 & 3.5 run via RUNONCEEX or HFGUIRUNONCE

This is an autoit utility that gets all drives (Total & Free spaces) quickly. Launch from Context Menu of My Computer only Result is written & open for view on user's desktop , DriveSpaceDetail.txt If run again, DriveSpaceDetail.txt will be replaced. So please rename it before running this utility again. Data are displayed/aligned using default notepad or notepad2 I use to think that such basic info should be made easily but I can't find any utility that quickly grab space detail for all drives. Since u didn't provide the installer link for download, I google CIS_Setup_3.8.65951.477_XP_Vista_x32.exe and I download from here. I tired it only on VM and I managed to get pass the last 2 stages. But I don't understand your script as it is too complex. I made my own and you can take a look. BTW, I tested on Virtualbox only and the part where it ask to scan the system, my code is in line 56/57 Line 59 onwards is the 2nd part where it asks to restart the pc. Script was not tested in unattended environment and I build the script on XP Pro SP3 VM. COMODOInternetSecurityInstallerWizardScript.au3 I hope this script somehow helps you in one way or another. A quick answer is "It doesn't affect CPU usage".

A "virgin source" also means clean source. All slipstreaming tool generally requires "untouch" source so that output (SOURCESS) can be managed predictably. If u retain your HFslip slipstreaming structure using clean source, adding/slipstreaming new hotfixs that usually release every month would be much easier and less problem. BTW, u can try to put KB959772 in HFSVCPACK_SW1 I assume you are using clean source as I do that and it works. My WMP11 are in HF sub-folder (I slipstreamed WMP11 installer in extracted form, saving some extacting time during run) Good luck
