    the only people who shouldn't like sp2 are admins of MASSIVE networks which use old decrepid software that they should have replaced but haven't i voted 'superb'

  10. yes this is normal, i'd get an 80gb WD SE drive, you'll REALLY notice the difference in all applications, or just defrag your drive often before burning..

  16. that sounds like a normal xp disc with added extras for the mamufacturer (OEM folder) if its bootable, it will work fine with no problems after formatting

    first, turn off System Restore when removing virus's as they stay in there. then download this 'beta'version of NOD32 virus scanner http://www.nod32.com/download/downbeta.htm -let it do an update, then do a full scan of your pc.

  21. real vnc runs fine on a 100mbit network just turn it down to 8 colours and it'll fly!

    get this a lot of the time in work, take out the keyboard and clean it well, make sure there's no crap under the F1 key or on the contact what laptop make/model is it, someone might be able to help you with getting the keyboard out, there's usually some small catches along the edges of them!
