  1. use nlite to make your own 'tiny xp' you can choose what you keep then

  8. xpize only patches bitmaps in files, it doesn't outright place the files attatch your msgina on here, its probably got the same bitmap numbers -open it up in reshacker.exe and you'll see what i mean google for reshacker
  9. use winamp lite and media player classic loads smaller and better than WMP just do a few test installs, if you've used nlite a few times, then start becoming really heavy handed with the removals, if you know how to assign an ip address, then you can remove DHCP and i think all the networking options.. get a 2nd hard drive or partition for fast testing

  11. there's also the rcimlby.exe file for remote assistance but how to remove it from the remote tab and keep remote desktop?
  12. i noticed it was in the addons pack, can it just be run as a standalone app witohut any registry changes needed to install it?

  14. 100% no need to do this if you're using nlite, just use the nlite patch!

    delete the USWXP32P_ZX folder manually, thats not usually on xpdiscs, it must be a compaq thing might work fine without it

  17. any chance of making them for the driver packs? far easier to download a bunch of torrents instead of clicking around to get each driverpack -and a lot easier on bandwidth

    download it from deviantart.com Luna Royale is quite a lot nicer by the way extract the rar/zip file to say c:\themes then select the *.msstyles file, using the nlite unattended section for integration

    this is what yo need to do.. copy your xpdisc (not a rescue dvd..) to C:\xpcd download service pack, and save to say C:\servicepack.exe (dont rename it tho) open nlite, pointit at c:\xpcd, then choose service pack integration/slipstream, point it at the exe when it asks, click ok..
