  1. Most often, the fragmented files are ones that cannot be moved.
  2. I couldn't have said it much better myself. ;D
  3. www.aimutation.com Nuff said.
  4. I must say, I heard this song about a month ago and since I wanted to get it. It seems a bit like a rap song but it's really amazing. Lyrics (Somewhat explicit lyrics, f* word used twice.) Video (Clean and censored) He touches base on the following hot topics: marajuana, prescription drugs, self-esteem, terrorist "masterminds", lazy americans (The Great Obesity Epidemic of 2004. "How'd you get through it grandpa?" "Oh, it was horrible Johnny, there was cheesecake and pork chops everywhere."), suffering/Bill Gates, poverty/minimum wage. A lot of the cd is really good, and quite funny. If you've heard it, do reply your thoughts on it.
  5. Accidents happen, just be careful. And you might want to read the rules, so here's the link. Msfn Forum Rules
  6. Might want to remove that file of yours and fix your post.
  7. http://www.innosetup.com Use Inno Setup. It's one of the best setup utilities available, great compresson and all. Even MS and Nasa have used it. Also get ISTool ( http://www.istool.org/ ) as it will speed up your installer script generation time by far.
  8. I'll buy THAT for a dollar!
  9. I use Outpost Pro 2.5. I at one time used ZonePro, but when I would boot my ME computer, I had 80% system resources free. When I booted running Outpost Pro, I had 95% resources free. Right now about the only issue I'm trying to figure out that I believe it related to Outpost 2.5 Pro is why Winmgmt is loading when I boot up.
  10. So you had a faulty drive, and more than likely the (forgive me I just woke up here) li'l thing that reads/writes data was off a bit and misreading the drive causing the freezes/hangs. I had a similar problem, my hard drive made a nails on a chalkboard noise and did much as you said, it would stop responding for some time, though it also would make the noises..
  11. Not a problem, thank you for the reply.
  12. One month later... Is there any answer out there?
  13. It eventually redirects to www.pcbugdoctor.com, but I've tried this software and it doesn't work at all, just another one of those "hoax" softwares that fakes fixes in my opinion.

  15. It might help if you can post a segment of the log from your firewall. More than likely these are just pings, ICMP echos and items of that nature. I'd get them on occasion and be alerted with Outpost Professional (Much better than Norton and ZAP, in my honest opinion.)
  16. Winamp 5.05: * Security bug fix * Fix for upside down videos through DirectShow * JTFE v0.96c * Added prompt when loading a skin for the first time
  17. I'm using AIM 5.2 with AiMutation. Works extremely well to me. Removes ads and all kinds of junk. Btw, there's a path in the Windows directory you can go to in order to edit your profile. info.htm is the file name.
  18. Agnitum Ltd. to Offer Outpost Firewall Pro Support For Microsoft Windows XP SP2 with Advanced Security Technologies The upcoming Outpost Firewall Pro 2.5 operates seamlessly with XP SP2 to improve security and privacy Nicosia, Cyprus — August 4, 2004 — Agnitum Ltd., a leader in security and privacy software for home and office computers, today announced its support of Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) with Advanced Security Technologies. The upcoming 2.5 version of Outpost Firewall Pro, the award-winning security software developed by Agnitum, is to operate seamlessly with Windows XP SP2 and provide customers with updated support and features that improve the security and privacy of their web connections. Surfing the web can be quite an adventure today. Along with practical information and fast communication, users also find plenty of trouble: viruses, Trojans, spyware and worms that crash systems and intrude on privacy. However, users also benefit from the improvements made in security software development, which give more protection from Internet dangers and more peace-of-mind. Experts acknowledge Outpost Firewall Pro as one of the most secure and easy-to-use firewall software solutions available on the market. Outpost detects and blocks hacker attacks, guards the privacy of computer data, monitors the network activity of the system and its applications, provides secure web surfing, and prevents Internet worms from activating from the inbox. “Outpost Firewall Pro’s mission is to protect customers from dangers peculiar to web surfing,” said Mikhail Zakhryapin, managing director of Agnitum Ltd. “Our customers seek security and confidence, they come to us because they rely on us and know that we can provide them with a superior arsenal of defense against most Internet threats. We are confident that the work we’ve done with Microsoft to integrate Outpost Firewall Pro within Windows XP Service Packet 2 will allow our customers to enjoy the benefits of a more secure PC experience.” Windows XP SP2 with Advanced Security Technologies brings Windows XP users the latest security updates and innovations from Microsoft. It establishes stronger default security settings and automatically installs unique security features that better protect computers from hackers, viruses and other security risks. Additionally, Windows XP Service Pack 2 delivers a new Windows Security Center that allows users to easily control their connections and monitor their security level. “We appreciate that the Windows Security Center feature of SP2 will allow Windows XP users to manage their security status from one location,” said Zakhryapin. “For instance, users of Outpost Firewall Pro 2.5 will easily see if their firewall is running or not. In case it is switched off, Windows Security Center will alert the user to a potential danger. This co-operation with Microsoft will benefit users, and we recommend that our customers install Windows XP Service Pack 2. In general, we think that this is a very useful technology since it makes more users aware of the problems and threats of Internet communication.” Windows Security Center simplifies access to and configuration of Windows Firewall as well as provides visibility to Outpost Firewall Pro. In addition, Outpost Firewall Pro implements additional features for Internet Explorer content filtering with SP2 and helps users control and reduce unwanted ads and content. “Microsoft is pleased to be working with Agnitum to deliver an easy to use and more secure computing experience to our customers,” said Neil Charney, director, Windows Product Management at Microsoft. “The integration of Agnitum Outpost Firewall Pro within the Windows Security Center feature of Windows XP Service Pack 2, is one example of how industry collaboration is helping to combat the challenges associated with online threats.” About Agnitum Agnitum is a leader in security and privacy software for home and office computers. 19. Any word on this question?
  20. Thanks Gamehead200. I do appreciate it. Although the dilemma at hand that I can see is if neither BBCode or HTML versions will work, then it's almost pointless? (I could be wrong) Url to a forum where I've posted: http://aaotracker.4players.de/thread.php?threadid=57524
  21. Here's an example taken from the www.aaotracker.com site. Note that the background image is transparent, and what you're seeing behind it is the forum colors of their boards. The text within always changes, but that's what it would look like. If you wish you can apply their background color to it as you see the sig below. Code for BB Sig is below. [url=http://aaotracker.4players.de/usertracker.php?userid=215457][img=http://aaotracker.4players.de/trackersig.php?userid=215457][/url]
  22. Actually, it's a preset signature from www.aaotracker.com Note: The image I use is transparent so that makes me wonder if size matters.
  23. Enclosing an example, perhaps this will clarify and get an answer. Hoping these will work; if not perhaps a solution can be suggested if the sig is allowed..? HTML: <a target="_blank" href="http://aaotracker.4players.de/usertracker.php?userid=215457"><img border="0" src="http://aaotracker.4players.de/trackersig.php?userid=215457"></a> BB-Code version will not work, error returned: THE FOLLOWING ERROR(S) WERE FOUND Sorry, dynamic pages in the tags are not allowed
  24. I'm wondering if I could use the AAOTracker signature? Reason I ask is: I can see how that would cause a conflict with the forums rules here; but if the image choice is transparent, would it matter? I use the transparent background image to this is what really had me thinking here. (Oops, just noticed I put this in the wrong place. My apologies. *Looks for delete*) Edit: Thread got moved, thanks!
  25. Just curious, but wasn't a similar poll already made like this? >;D
