  1. I found a modification to do exactly what you want. Edit: Found a better one: http://forums.dscripting.com/index.php?aut...mp;showfile=156

    Give Dial-a-fix a try.
  3. Please check the dates when posting. There are similar topics with more recent dates.
  4. I don't believe there is any such feature in the forum software or if there are any modifications available to do such a thing.
  5. Jack Thompson is the guy who raised ruckus about games like Grand Theft Auto and several others. On September 25, 2008, Thompson was officially disbarred by the Florida Supreme Court, effective October 25th, 2008. Kotaku Thompson's response
  6. Do you have any other profiles to log on to?
  7. You'll need to make it an avatar instead of a profile picture. Moved to Site and Forum Issues.
  8. Just uninstall Google toolbar. You really shouldn't have any toolbars installed.
  9. Combofix is well known for breaking computers. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware can remove AntiVirusXP2008 and many other variants.
  10. I went for three years straight without a format. Only reason I did was because I was using a clean image, no OEM crap with my newer hard drive.
  11. Just run 98 in a VM under Vista or XP. Check out VirtualBox to get a VM.

  13. Hey look. Warez! Read the rules. Closed
  14. You don't, nor will you ever need a toolbar. They're useless add-ons that integrate into the Explorer shell and can cause a number of issues. To reset your user agent you can either use SUPERAntiSpyware or use this registry file for IE7 on XP. Avast (do a minimal install) is the top pick for an AV for me, Avira's AntiVir is also quite nice.
  15. SUPERAntiSpyware can also repair the User Agent for IE.
  16. I have two items loading on startup. Multimedia keyboard driver and a software firewall. Everything else I load after startup that I might need.
  17. I'd remove any/all toolbars, uninstall AVG and Spyware Doctor. Spyware Doctor is useless, AVG has lost it's quality, and toolbars can really mess with Windows Explorer, etc.
  18. Would you mind posting a HijackThis log please?
  19. I recommend the Professional package choice in my Anti-Malware Toolkit. I've been getting very fond of SUPERAntiSpyware lately too. It works quite well, though all of the tools are essential in their own way.
  20. I had an install that was over three years old and took under a minute to boot. No services disabled, nothing "nLited". Just a normal Windows install.
